Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Whole sports match fixing has been outdated now. I am aware of the fact that sports matches are fixed sometimes a full match but that happens rarely. Now in soccer goals,fowls,cards and many other things are fixed. In cricket no ball,4s or 6s or catch drop type things. There are different ways of fixing matches. It is nice share though I appreciate this one.
