AFAIK only Boolberry is Officially planning to stay competitive with Monero's RingCT and other advances in Cryptonote protocol technology.

Iconomi is great project im always following this coin daily maybe they will be promising coin as they could when it will be added om exchangers but also the same as other coin iconomi would need to prove his strength so traders would love to stake this coin and provably for the big funds they've got for now provably they will surpass the monera if good faith let them happen.

With RingCT Monero will be as close to perfect digital cash as you can get.  I don't see the value of any other coin at that point.  Either they are blockchain apps (not money) or they are scams.

You can forget all the others, why not to focus on Monero only. Buy now, be happy later. Just buy and hold no matter how high the price goes.
Monero is seriously the first coin that even the bitcoin maximalists are scared of. Some joined already after they realized they cannot beat it.

Focusing on the shitcoins are waste of time and money.

This. I don't know how many times people need to get steamrolled by scamcoins and pump and dump artists. Monero is one of only maybe 3-4 coins I'd even consider buying.
