yes every investment is risky but i think still there are so many online shops where you can invest you without any doubt as they are too much safe. as there are so many good potential alt coin where people are investing money and they do not worry about their investment as they consider their investment more safe and secure.

This is excellent investment you have made it. If you are holding currently then your profit is worth now close to 1500$ per btc. Hope you will continue to hold it and see it growing many more times in coming year. If you country changes the policy then it may be not that meaningful since then ban may come soon .

Every good choice you make can be good investment. Poloniex had issues but it normal again, and they are still to trustworthy by me, and believe by many members here. Remember they were hacked and they return funds to all users, which one done that, cryptsy was fallen and still no refund to users.

I think trading altcoins is better than investing in ICO's - they often turn into scams, or fail for some reasons, sometimes you need to wait months to see any profit. If you want to get fresh coin, you can just buy as soon as it hits exchanges. ICO's have too many risks with no significant reward - established altcoins have enough volatility and many of them showed brilliant performance recently.

Yes that investing in bitcoin has a big risk but it will gives you big profit if you keep it in long-term. And i recommend to you that you will only invest the amount that you can afford to lose because bitcoin value is hard to predict when it will rise or going to dump.

Investing protects you against price drops. If u buy btc at 2k you have alot risk for it will fall. But if u get a few % returns a month u make it back

Some also like to call this sometimes "gambling", but this is way to opposite of real gambling. Professional traders do all king of stuff trading we only trade crypto and like said you dont need to be some expert follow something on some major exchange (meant on volume), then invest some little btc and price start to rise wait good opportunity to sell and profit made.

Advice just do sometimes little research on particular coin.

I think the other guy said is all about the ICO because investing in ICO will make you a big profit as long as the ICO successful because in the crowdsale there's a discount for the coin and the biggest sale of the coin is always in the first day so that will be a good making of money and If the ICO will success that will give you a huge profit.

Is the OP still updating the list? I visit this thread sometimes to see if there are some new websites that you could invest with. It is hard to find those legitimate websites that you could trust your coins.

I receive lot's of emails from various sites claiming to give double or more returns on bitcoin investments and 99.9% of such sites are clear scams (When I cross check such advertisements). It's really difficult to choose right or at least trusted investment opportunity to earn good returns on the investment. We need more trusted sites and awareness too.

From my experience there will be no such investment opportunities are existing in this world. 100% all of them will be a threat to your hard earned money, never trust any of them. Instead of risking with them, my suggestion would be just letting sleep your bitcoin would be the best decision.

I think the only people who do not dare to take risks just let their bitcoin wallet, I think investing would give a greater advantage than you just hold your bitcoin wallet, but it's your choice

Agree. Also follow less then 10 coins. If follow to many start get hard to keep track of all.

I think having certain percentage of wealth in bitcoin is a risky decision but at the same time, it's because we trust this system. I have a my investments in crypto with certain number of percentage of my overall wealth and I can afford to lose it in the long term so it's all about the risk and loss bearing capacity of the investor.

True... The only one who will become successful is the people who have a courage to take the risk. In every transaction that we are made risk is always there and all we need to do is to confront and outsmart the challange.
