Well if it really should reach $1200 this would be create. Not only would I made some Money, but it would also proof the success of Bitcoin. But to be honest I don't think this will happen. Prove me wrong, please.

I've heard these predictions from some people on this forum, however I haven't heard of anyone who actually thinks this is going to happen from a professional point of view. I have heard at best some sketchy charts and people saying "oh yeah it'll go up around this high" and nothing beyond that. I predict something like maybe $600s if the value starts going back up, otherwise it'll likely be similar to what it is now.

as it was expected for the last few months that the price of bitcoin will increase too much, but unfortunately the bitfinex issues decrease the price of bitcoin about 200 USD, where the investors lost their confidence and they become defensive but now they age gaining their confidence again and hope that the price will really cross 12oo usd at the end of 2o16USD.

Of course it's not going to happen. We might not even see that price next year as the closer we come to the $1000 level, the extremer the selling pressure gets. If we can get the price to increase with around $150-$200 every year, then it's already a great achievement. $1000 is not realistic at this point.

Yeah i agree ! people in bitcoin now is they expect a lot about the price of bitcoin. we cant expect by next year with that big price and yeah i agree the prices increases every year about $100 is really good and we should be thankful about it

that's just unreasonable speculation or just random guessing,there's no evidence at all that prove that bitcoin's price could skyrocketing,if bitcoin just reached $800 in the end of 2016 that just make sense but $1200 is just too far away even bitcoin's price could rising up more than 100% in one night and it's possible but it need so many factor that supporting

We are barely back above $600.
Price has been slow and steady recently. I do not foresee any huge jumps unless something changes.
But price could definitely be $700 by next year.

I have no idea where people get these figures from.
Its like they just run a random number generator LOL.

Within 2016 i don't think $1200 is possible to reach, price may test $800 range before the end of this year. It will be over hype/speculation to predict price to get ATH within end of 2016.

lol. no experts can predict the price to btc. it is very unlikely that their prediction will be true. bitcoin is very fluctuating and its price goes up and down every few seconds. so even if someone, thinking himself as an expert, is predicting about the future price of btc, you should just take it as a pinch of salt. and believe me, bitcoin can go even higher than 1200$ or as low as 400$ because of its unpredictable nature. you should just take the profits what you get from the hype and dont believe on anyone's predictions. just my 2 cents!

In my prediction, it is impossible that bitcoin might be reached at $1200 in this year, Because now where we are here no one see any surprise thing would be happened suddenly. They aren't expert predictions most of the time, or at least I haven't seen any predictions coming from experts that say that Bitcoin will be above $600-ish by the end of this year. The majority of people I have seen saying that Bitcoin will reach it's ATH value over the next few months have all been on this forum, and none of them really make a compelling case for their valuations.

Don't get me wrong, I'd be incredibly happy with Bitcoin hitting $1,200, but the fact of the matter is it is just incredibly unlikely.

Theres  no several experts  that could really predict on the price of bitcoin since  no one knows what would happen in the future regarding to bitcoins price. All of those claims are just  speculation and theres no  exact thing  or thing that proves that it would really happen. Well there are some speculation  might be right because as you can see bitcoin price is  growing  as the years go by.

It's mind boggling how easy people assume we will reach a new all time high just because the price has gone up to over $600....

we are expecting it for last few months and not for today when the price is above 600$. if we study of the bitcoin increasing trend it shows that every time it increasing percentage is too high, and as more and more people are investing their money in bitcoin and the demand of bitcoin is increasing from time to time so we can expected that the price of bitcoin will cross 1200$ very soon,
