That was exactly the answer I expected and you can see why the current team will fail. Self-criticism - never. The others are stupid. We are not. Three years in one of the fastest industries and no website update. Sure - doesn't matter. The problems of obyte.org are so so so obvious (on so many levels) and you write to me that I have no idea?! Can you use a network monitor? You mean several hundred KB of JS and CSS are still fine today. Sure. Yes, Google Pagespeed has no meaning at all, fore sure... Seven seconds is a good value, fore sure... I am so tired of these wanna-be web developers with no knowledge about how important a fast website is.
Once again... Good luck, Tony. Press restart.
What are you talking about? Obyte is just 3.5 years old and it's a second website that has been live and we are working on 3rd website. It's some noob "investors" dream who hope that price will pump with new website design, there are many like you on all projects. And when talking about new content, that has also been constantly added there, that's the whole reason why the website has gone slower - so there has been things "going on". People looking at tools like Google Pagespeed and not understanding what it says are wanna-be developers. Your criticism is worthless, it's just talk. 19 months since your last criticism about explorer and where is the new design for explorer? If you think that something ain't good, stop talking and make it better or even better, build a new one. Some community members have done that - built a new explorer from ground up https://obyte.io/

OByte is in a good way. Website is perfect. I like it! Not a need to have complicated site, and won't working product. A site should give information. I think, https://obyte.org/ is a simple and good site. Please don't let your work disturbed, simple develop and test professional - as before. Many thanks for your work!

IOTA might be more suitable project for you, I don't know, how many websites they have made already since the beginning, but they just released a new one. Definitely a project that focuses more on marketing and website than their core product. https://twitter.com/iotatoken/status/1267155868090609664 Google Pagespeed: IOTA mobile - 13 Obyte mobile - 19 IOTA desktop - 73 Obyte desktop - 66 Seems like Obyte 2 years old website follows the industry standard of Google Pagespeed rank. Or IOTA new website follows the same standard as Obyte, not sure who is copying who. Let's see if Obyte can get better score once it also goes to multi page format.

Hello,
i have a problem restoring wallet from full backup. I'm running Ubuntu 18.04.4 and obyte-x86_64.AppImage.
If i try to restore a full backup the application just crashes with following output:
[1769:1769:0602/162305.276983:ERROR:sandbox_linux.cc(381)] InitializeSandbox() called with multiple threads in process gpu-process. The full backup was generated on another machine (which no longer exists) with same OS and app version (3.0.3 light). Restore by seed worked, but without blackbytes of course.
Any suggestions how to solve this?
Thanks and regards!

Seems like DAG's are starting to catch on ...
You're right, DAGs are superior in terms of both clarity of design and scalability. I think Iota team made the right decision by choosing DAG too. @tonych, what is your opinion about the project AVA Labs, they also use DAG, launch beta version, unless of course you saw their development. ??

Got a peek on that, too low liquidity to trade, only 7 deals from the start (first, the buy one is dated 17.05., the last - 31.05), six of them are the short trading. Do you really think BTC_20200701 will get traction? It’s really hard to put elbows through that crowd of stablecoins which have an established place on the market. BTC_20200701 is also on decentralized Obyte exchange https://odex.ooo/trade/GBYTE/BTC_20200701Never understand those who complain about liquidity, go create some! Why you always expect others to do all the work?

I think, https://obyte.org/ is a simple and good site. Byteball has been like that since the beginning: no-nonsense, and a working product. However, in a market that's competing with hypes, in the short-term, hyped shitcoins win market share much easier.

In Obyte: when necessary - you are public, when not necessary - anonymous.
Transactions in our network can be confirmed by a third party. This allows you to use the existing legal system to prevent fraud. Banks can open accounts that are tracked in the Obyte database (and not in the bank’s internal database) and still meet existing KYC / AML requirements. In another case, the transaction can, on the contrary, be completely hidden, and only its hash will appear in the DAG, while the rest of the data will be transferred directly from the payer to the recipient

Wiki - is an excellent resource with articles on a wide range of Obyte platform features. However, there is a lot of information, so we recommend starting from the beginning!

Obyte version 3.1.0 released, this version introduces major enhancements in Autonomous Agents. The changes are scheduled to get activated at MCI 5494000 which is expected around July 1st. All full nodes need to upgrade before that date.

. All full nodes need to upgrade before that date.
I have the light Obyte client of 3.0.3 version. Being launched it said nothing about new release. I want to know if I should be worried about that. Is that upgrade mandatory for my light client? It's mandatory for full nodes to update before MCI 5494000, but it's not mandatory for light nodes, just recommended because it fixes some issues, especially on Linux. It also has some features like hiding unwanted smart-contracts and ability to require specific address from URI. It's seems that Hubs are not made to notifying the wallet apps yet.
