Wow, thanks to this cool tool I have managed to find one of tonych addresses . Strangely for me it holds at the moment as little as ~392 Gbytebut plenty of GRGB and GRB. How did I find it? I just look for top address which holds tonnes of TONY. Looks like he uses this address to manage his DeFi tokens, there are tonnes of them there, just check 3Y24IXW57546PQAPQ2SXYEPEDNX4KC6Y There are more holders of TONY, that doesn't mean anything. TONY tokens can be bought there https://oswap.io/#/add-liquidity/JEDK6OUYXM6UBNX6NC6RAZJ7757CIWWEMore telling fact is that this address has Estonian e-residency email and Steem attestation https://obyte.io/@3Y24IXW57546PQAPQ2SXYEPEDNX4KC6YThis was once posted on Discord #defi-projects channel: There is a relatively new fundraising method that has become popular in DeFi space lately: ILO - initial liquidity offering. You can easily use this method on Obyte already now, and all you need is Oswap, nothing else. I used the same method not for fundraising but to create a personal token TONY: - I created a new asset through https://obyte.app/- assigned a name to it through the decentralized token registry: https://tokens.ooo/TONY- created a GBYTE-TONY pool on Oswap - added 1 GBYTE and all my TONYs to the pool Initially, the pool had 1 GBYTE and 1,000,000 TONY and TONY price was 0.000001 GBYTE. As people buy TONY, its price rises. I bought the first 150,000 TONY and its price is now 0.000001389 GBYTE. If you try to buy all TONYs from the pool, the price will go to infinity . I hold the shares of the liquidity pool on Oswap, so I can earn from fees when users buy or sell TONY through the pool. Also the shares appreciate when TONY token appreciates, I could sell or redeem the shares if I wanted to fundraise. Now, just for fun: 1. buy some TONY while it's cheap and pump it to the sky 2. create a personal token for you and your puppy

e-residency email tells nothing, anyone can get this. Yeah, TONY tokens can be bought by anyone but I doubt anyone’s ever bought something that has any value. What happened with Distribution #24? It’s been over an hour of the scheduled distribution time -2021-04-07 12:00:00 (GMT) - but relevant Gbyte are still missing my wallet. Edit: received with ~2 hrs delay. E-residency email tells a lot, maybe you should read more about how Estonian e-residency and email attestation works. You can start from there and then follow the links: https://blog.obyte.org/distribution-to-verified-emails-and-sending-cryptocurrency-to-email-episode-ii-cb955fe19d7ehttps://blog.obyte.org/new-methods-for-identity-verification-3d5045287533Are you suggesting it can be some other person? It has same legal name as Tony's legal name and you get e-residency by doing the KYC in Estonian Embassy in many countries https://obyte.org/legalIt was not my assumption that it's Tony's address, but fact that it's Tony's address because I know how Estonian e-residency works. Also, the same address has posted many base AAs on the network, this can also been seen on obyte.io explorer. This info has NOT been secret. Again, assuming someone's identity based on the tokens they hold is slippery slope, TONY tokens are on 8 addresses, but obviously you didn't check that.

Why so huge surge in price, almost 70% up? I tried to find the news that would in potential to trigger the current rise but failed to find any. There is a rumor that Obyte has to target kucoin, is that true? Anyway I don't think the price increase of Gbyte could make liquidity providers happy right now. They are losing money in their pools. Gbyte, go back to $20.
Don't know any rumors about any exchange, but the suggested exchanges where GBYTE could be listed is public information https://preview.mailerlite.com/r3q4a1Only liquidity providers who provide liquidity with GBYTE might have some loses if they don't rebalance the pools, other non-GBYTE liquidity providers are not affected. I wouldn't wish lower price, the price should be even higher, so less GBYTE would be needed for stablecoin reserves. Fair GBYTE price would be between $3000 and $6000.

Today, when I saw the price, my feelings were rather mixed, (in the sense that I could not decide whether to be happy or sad because I bought less Obyte than I would like). It is also quite possible that a group of people professionally engaged in speculating on altcoins looked through the list of all the coins that have not yet reached their peak and made a bet on Obyte.

And they doesn't seem to be using trading rewards because net buys are quite low this weeks, all the rewards for longs are distributed among those who have signed up there and hodling their new buys https://trade.obyte.org/payouts

Pumping a coin by making rumors, this is common in the crypto market. Most of the pumps and dumps in the crypto market are based on rumors. I also tried a lot to see if there were any new updates, but nothing was found. If rumors spread on the kucoin list, if this coin is pumped, it will not pump for a long time. Because with short term hype no coin can hold up trend for long. And if the rumors come true, it could be a positive thing.

Nope, all liquidity providers lose their money because they need to swap to Gbyte at the very end. None of the existing stablecoins can be directly traded for BTC, Gbyte is the only option. Price is getting crazy, my blockfolio app shows $136.77 right now. Gbyte, I'm saying seriously, stop immediately and go back to $20. I don't think it works like this, if you are holding a stablecoin, then you are not losing value, you still have the value of that specific stablecoin. Only thing that stablecoin holders lost was the opportunity to get more BTC or USD by selling GBYTE at higher price. If you bought IBIT when it was launched at 10 000 USD and sell it now for 60 000 USD worth of GBYTE, you still made 6x. Same with ITH, when it was launched, it cost 575 USD worth of GBYTE, now it is worth 2300 USD worth of GBYTE, so you made 4x gain.

May anyone explain how to sell my blackbytes for GB ( or something else)? I added the blackbytes exchange from the bot store but am doing something wrong : I click on buy orders that show up but nothing happens. Anyone using it and have a clue?

Is it the same exchange as the one with screenshots there? https://blackbytes.io/Are you using the latest v3.3.1 wallet app?

I haven't opened my wallet for 3 years. I thought I sold my GB back then but upon looking at the wallet, it shows my transaction of sending the GB as unconfirmed.
How can I recover the sent but unconfirmed GB? Shows sent in 2018 but unconfirmed.
Also, this wallet had been restored and my blackbytes balance is showing 0, but I have this other address in the wallet I have no idea what the tokens are, like billions of them. There is no token description however. Any idea what those would be?
Edit: Seems my wallet is just not synced, therefor the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain (confirmed on explorer) but not my wallet. Disregard.

Everytime I start my wallet I get a prompt about using a old client with an new database. I have upgraded the wallet and allowed it to upgrade the database, however I still get this prompt everytime I try to open the wallet and when I click 'ok' on the prompt the wallet closes.
Edit: Looks like this was due to restoring a 32 bit backup to a 64 bit machine.

Assuming you have light node, maybe you have not update the witnesses and it can't find the history properly? Or did you restore a old copy of full node and it hasn't synced to the part where the transaction became confirmed. If the asset ID is mX/3+2P2hssneRo9HsSjhZYrHL/kD+at+vnymNcBRKA= then it's probably just spam asset, you can hide assets when you click on the Gear icon. Have you installed Obyte wallet v3.3.1? Maybe you used it once and now still trying to open old Byteball wallet, which no longer works. I am guessing you have 2 wallets installed, use the Obyte one.

Yes, however when executing the v3.3.1 Obyte wallet, it still utilizes the same shortcuts that the previous Gbyte wallet used. It even shares the same pinned task bar shortcut so I'm assuming its actually the same wallet with a new name typed on it.

Ok, looks like thats what that is. I had a lot of blackbytes on the previous wallet when it was on another PC. I can't seem to get those to show anymore. Bummer.

So I installed the new Obyte wallet. It creates a New Obyte wallet on my system, however when opening it, it seems to be opening the same ole Gbyte wallet however it has the new Obyte -- Smart Payments at the top of the wallet. However the shortcuts I had for the old Gbyte wallet are connected to the new Obyte wallet. For example when I open the Obyte wallet the pinned Gybte wallet on my taskbar is executed.
Seems even though the 2 wallets are named and installed as different programs they still share the same paths when executing the new Obyte wallet installation.
Am I supposed to uninstall the Gbyte wallet after installing and upgrading the DB with the Obyte wallet?
lol

The new app installs into different path than the old one, so you might have 2 apps installed, but the data is loaded from original place with both apps. That's why the version mismatch when opening already upgraded database with old app. You should uninstall the old app and only keep the new app.
