I linked my bitcoin address. But is there a way to verify it in byteball's wallet? It seems to me that every time I click on the receiving address, it generated some new ones. How do I know if my BTC address is linked to which of my byteball address?

Using the search function on the transition page, you can check your byteball address and linked btc addresses.

http://transition.byteball.org/

Thanks for information. If I have multiple byteball addresses, how do I see all of them? I see only the current/latest one.

I installed the new livenet wallet.
How do I back up? it says the seed is not enough.

yu must paired another wallet (mulisig)..andro or pc/mac..and your bbs be linked at 2 wallet..so that if 1 of 2 crash your bbs will be saved.

You can also backup the user folder of the wallet. Under ubuntu, you can find the wallet files in the hidden "~/.config/byteball" folder (under windows I guess it's somewhere under the user's appdata but I'm not sure). You have to copy the complete folder because it's the only storage for blackbyte transaction data.

It used to take me a while to sync when I open the wallet. Now when I open the wallet it seems no sync... is this because there's no transactions on the new livenet yet, or because there are some big improvements? Just curious.

As there are no coins distributed yet, there are no transactions to sync in the livenet wallet.

This is how you can see all your addresses in byteball:
Settings->Advanced->Wallet Information, then scroll down, you see "Last Wallet Addresses".

This is the top association, but I check the BTC address 35Rwwc9e2Mj7smFXJ1iXF826cMW3tqfz6x   in blockchain.info, total received is 0, and final balance is 0 too, is there anything wrong in calculation?

First time hearing this, can you elaborate?

It is better to restart from the beginning

1. Create a new wallet and get a new btc address you are sure to own:
- Go to "Settings", then "Addresses", then click on "+ Add", name your new wallet and click on "Create new"
- Click on "Home" tab, click on "Receive", select your new wallet, and copy the displayed address: this is your address from your new wallet (I will call it "New wallet address").

2. Move your bitcoins (from "old" wallet) to your New wallet address:
- On Blockchain.info "Home" tab, click on "Send", select your OLD wallet ("From:"), paste your New wallet address ("To:"), write the desired amount of BTC (old wallet balance minus fee), then send it.
- Wait for transaction confirmation.

3. Byteball wallet and transition bot:
- Open Byteball wallet
- Open transition bot ("chat with the Transition Bot" link on byteball.org)
- Follow the instructions
- Transition bot asks you to send a small btc amount to an address it gives you, copy this address (I will call it "Bot address") and copy the amount.

4. Send a small amount to transition bot:
- On Blockchain.info "Home" tab, click on "Send", select your NEW wallet ("From:"), paste the Bot address ("To:"), paste the small amount of BTC required by the bot, then send it.
- Wait for transaction confirmation.

5. Byteball wallet and transition bot again:
- Open Byteball and transition bot ("chat with the Transition Bot" link on byteball.org) again.
- The transition bot should now confirm that your Byteball address is linked to your New wallet address.

Now you're going to tell me: "But transition bot says I have 0 BTC on my address!". It is normal because your bitcoins are on a CHANGE address. We have to send them back to the linked BTC address! You will have to repeat the following steps EVERY time you spend a part of your bitcoins.

6. Send back your bitcoins to your linked address:
- On Blockchain.info "Home" tab, click on "Send", select your NEW wallet ("From:"), paste your New wallet address ("To:"), write the desired amount of BTC (new wallet balance minus fee), then send it.
- Wait for transaction confirmation.

7. Check transition bot again: the displayed balance should be correct Smiley

Ok, I did the first 5 steps. I created a new address, moved all the coins over to it and then sent from that address and the bot confirmed and now the bot says I have 0 BTC. But I honestly do not understand your instructions on repeating the steps. For instance, lets just call my current confirmed address ABC. So when I go to the blockchain all my coins are resting in address ABC. The bot has received my payment from address ABC, but apparently can't see my balance for some reason.

Can you please go over again what do to from here again? You say "Send back your bitcoins to your linked address" but I don't know what you mean by CHANGE address and linked address. I don't understand what CHANGE and linked mean.

When you spend a part of your bitcoin balance, the unspent part doesn't "stay" on the original address but is transferred to another address called change address.
Let's say you have 10 BTC on your address "A" and you pay 1 BTC to address "B". The 9 remaining BTC (unspent) are not on address "A" any more, they are on a new address "C" called CHANGE address (which is also YOUR address).
That is why when you pay the "bot address", you have to transfer again your bitcoins to the first address (the one I called "New wallet address" in the tutorial = the btc address "linked" to the Byteball address).

"all my coins are resting in address ABC": that's what the wallet shows you, but in fact your coins are on your change address (you can see that on a blockchain explorer)

"I don't understand what (..) linked mean": the "linked" address = the "new wallet address" from tutorial = the address from which you sent a small amount of btc to the bot address = the address the Bot recorded as your btc address

No, he did not.

Indeed he didn't. For the recored, the discussion concerning setting up a decentralized exchange can be found starting from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1608859.msg16492233#msg16492233 and in the following less than 10 posts.

Yes, under Windows (username) AppData Local byteball.

It's under Local, not Roaming unlike many other crypto coins.
