By the way, what about that cryptox.pl exchange? Do they want to trade byteballs? Nothing about byteball on their web as far as I can see

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Is there any threads or exchanges that trade byteball? I want to buy some. This is a great coin and I like it.

When the next round distribution will happen?

Uncaught exception: Error: Missing or empty parents unit array.
This worked fine 2 days ago and when I set it up. What up?

It should come up in a toggle, there is a flick through menu on the main screen of the wallet.

sort of a rat's nest. I got byteball wallet to pop open last time, participated in giveaway. Went to check it out, had to get new wallet. So I got a huge library of new files and nothing indicating to me what the wallet is but when i go to search in menu of linux, i got what must be old byteball and it just repeats error. Is there some indicator of what the wallet client even is to open it up?

Did you backup your wallet files when you upgraded and saved the seed also?

@icocountdown, no nobody said anything about that. Merry Christmas btw!
besides I can't seem to do anything with that error, so not like I was able to circumnavigate. Instructions would be nice. Do they exist anywhere or are we ripe for assumptions today?

There is a slack channel #trading, please go there if you want to buy, sell, exchange Bytes and Blackbytes or want to speculate about the price!  Grin

Please keep this in mind for your own safety:

Quote
Little guide for Byteball trading

This slack channel is for discussing Byteball trading and for organizing such trades. Please be aware that at the moment, the only way to trade safely is through a reputable escrow middleman! Even if you think you know the guy who you want to trade with, you should better trade through an escrow! We've already seen lots of scammers who try to impersonate well-known community members. So proceed with due diligence and always make sure that you are dealing with the right person, especially your escrow middleman. Only use registered escrow services and compare the usernames and bitcoin addresses carefully before you send someone your precious coins!

Registered escrow services:

@yassinnxt
Registered escrow bitcoin address: 153tSmxbKfby652LUyYdYEZhoxY9RzHYrz
Fee: 1% in BTC (from Byteball buyer)
(approx. 2700 BTC escrowed so far)

@seccour
Registered escrow bitcoin address: 1Hx3kxKbYyNgGyqzLB5Qw8BA8dZbuu1Xjn
Fee: none (tips accepted)
(over 500 BTC escrowed so far)

Could someone please explain what are Blackbytes?

Just received some to my wallet.

What are the differences with bytes?

Thanks!

You can backup the local folder on windows search %localappdata% copy and paste byteball folder in this directory to to make a backup.

I have a question on the tech side: if there are no transactions for 10 mins, there will be no new DAG node being added or for the witnesses they will do periodic transactions among them regularly anyway?
