why dev dont pay 5BTC and go to Bittrex ?

I don't think there's any point to go to Bittrex, we have an exchange for byteball, and it trades well, so if you want to trade, just go there. On the contrary, we do need an exchange for blackbyte.

BTW, when February distribution will happen?

My apologies if this has been already discussed, but what stops someone from sending the BTC proof from an exchange wallet? With a very small balance on an exchange, someone could potentially pretend they represent 1000s of Bitcoins.

I believe this distribution would be a lot more fair if it required the signature method, rather than allowing the tx method of proving address ownership.

Exchanges addresses has been ban. If an exchange want to link their wallet they will have to sign a message.

How do the byteball guys know all of the addresses that exchanges use?

Would updating windows wallet reset the transition bot meaning I would have to re-link?

No, you don't have to link again after an update. Did it myself several times, all addresses stay linked. Please always chat with the transition bot to make sure all your addresses are linked and have balance on it!

For keeping Blackbytes anonymous, trading at exchanges is the wrong way. There will be escrow contracts for  trustless trading bb soon.

So that you can dump your holdings on a well known exchange? Bittrex should add this coin for its own sake. I don't understand why tonych should pay for it.

You are right, why they need to pay for that? And current in a small exchange is helpful to the price, when it is on bittrex, I am afraid the price will go down a lot because many dumpers wanna dump.

BTW are you still part of curecoin? I've followed your guides since the start of arriving at this forum and mostly decided on cure on the basis of you being core to that project?

Fantastic. Anything that encourages OTC and keeps crypto P2P is a step in the right direction.

Would byteball chat ever be able to handle group conversations in same thread? Multiple devices concurrently?

The price is going to be screwed for yonks because the distributional model is a disgrace. You have those that hold the most with the biggest incentive to see it burn. Other big ICOS are not interested in seeing BB succeed. Most here in the community hold crumbs and will soon realise this.

On top of this no real exchange will touch it whilst 90% is still under the control of a sole entity.

Best thing just get it ALL out there on the market now and let it find its true value after the dumping and manipulation is done and over. Then it will eventually get to compete on its tech with other projects.

Could have been an amazing project and perhaps still can but the distribution will hold it back for ages from finding fair value in the market place.

And none didn't answer for my question  Angry
It will be good, that in wallet will be added opportunity to chose address for tip (like in Electrum or some others bitcoin clients). 'Cause in another way it's very hard to do all this work by yourself.

It will be good, that in wallet will be added opportunity to chose address for tip (like in Electrum or some others bitcoin clients). 'Cause in another way it's very hard to do all this work by yourself.

It's for this reason that it is necessary to save completely the directory of the byteballs, not just seed
Yeah, but you must save it after each transaction lol. It's very hard and here can be some other problems. Like an empty balance
You must not, if you are using multisig:

... private assets, such as blackbytes, are stored only in the wallet (exactly because they are private) and get updated every time you send or receive a private asset.

To secure against loss of the wallet, I recommend that you use multisig.  For example, 1-of-2 multisig with one wallet on the phone, the other on a desktop computer.  This way, the private assets will be automatically copied to the two devices.

Yep, but how does it help with problem of creating new address after transaction? I dont understand for sure.
After any transaction tip will go to new address in your wallet. To denied it you can:
1. Send money again from new address to your main (i didn't test that way)
2. Back up your data wallet.

The idea behind 1-of-2 is to have some kind of backup. It doesn't help with the problem of creating a new address. How would backing up your data solve that? All your addresses stay accessible through your wallet. If you back it up and restore it, you just restore to a previous state (ie you won't have transactions that were made after the back up), so I don't really understand your point #2.
