As far as I understood the concept, BlackBytes will probably never be listed on exchanges because it would undermine the anonymity. You can only exchange it from person to person on slack or sell them here in Altcoin Marketplace section.

howis valued blak b ? not price on coinmarketcap..it is similar to byte ? but it cant be exchange on market.

Yes but what is value ? If i want exchange them or to buy something

Bytes being distributed 10 minutes ago. Check your wallet and enjoy.

Yes. But don`t see darkbytes.

Same here. No black bytes. When is the distribution for those?

No blackbytes seem to have appeared in my wallet either.  I just received ordinary bytes.  The total amount received is too small for the issue to be simply counting blackbytes in the byte sum number.

That is despite my high-balance byteball address definitely being linked according to the transition bot when I went through the process and checked beforehand.

P.S.:
I'm not seeing why blackbytes should be such that they couldn't be sent to an exchange, for those of us who might want the option.  Monero and every other privacy-protecting coin that I've heard about is on exchanges.  If others don't want theirs passing through an exchange, just don't send them there (and if anonymity is utterly lost because some might have passed through an exchange a number of transactions back, that sounds like it would be a design fault).  Time is money if your time isn't worthless, making the time involved in person to person negotiations have a huge cost.

Yes i think also..There are 2X more blak b than BBs.. So value must be 2X less

I think it was around 1.5 GB per BTC linked in the first round. At least somewhere between 1-2.

No, your addresses remain linked for future distributions. You can see this when you call the chat in the wallet, which of your addresses are currently linked and which Bitcoin balances they have.

will we need to re-link our addresses for third round again or linked adresses in the second round will still work?

For the second round, each BTC linked gets 625 MB or 0.0625 GByte. Further, you get 10% new Byteballs for your existing Byteball balance. If you have 1 GByte Byteballs you get 0.1 GByte for free.

Anybody that expected people to hold their free byteballs was delusional.

There is always a wave of dumping after any free handout.. Price will correct, just wait a few days.

Distribution of bytes is complete, about 17,610 GB distributed, which is worth around $1m at the current price.

Distribution of blackbytes is still under way, it'll take much longer.
