Thanks.

The chat and the private messaging alognside the blackbytes payments is simply awesome. If there is a way to implement an escrow bot to do trades over the wallet this could be truly awesome  Cool
That way, in my mind, blackbytes become a great form of collateral

How you can help

In particular, we need faster syncing and faster UI.  Before now, I prioritized simplicity of algorithms over performance, now we need speed too.  A 10x improvement should come easy enough, the next 10x will be probably harder.  Discuss any major changes before actually implementing them.

Have tracks been found to accelerate synchronization ?

they are identical.

u can only look to the transaction history to see what amount was added.

Right now we just have the first round and the second round, and we have received the new byte from the only previous(the first) round bytes. So we will know whether the new bytes from the second round will get 0.1 new byte for each 1 byte.

ok but according to the bot:

For the bytes you hold on March 12 you receive 0.1 new byte for each 1 byte of your balance, even if your bytes are not on linked Byteball addresses.
You also receive 0.21111 blackbytes for each 1 byte of your balance on the linked Byteball addresses.

i. e. rewards for the storing are:
10% of the full bytes amount for bytes and 21% of the full bytes for blackbytes.

right?

Of course they will.

You will get new bytes depending on your balances on the day of the snapshot, (and blackbytes for bytes if these are on linked addresses).

It doesn't matter if you got them on first round or second round or you bought them or you move them or whatever ... If you want to be part of the next round, just make sure your bytes and BTC are on linked addresses when the snapshot occurs and that's it Wink.

For the bytes you hold on March 12 you receive 0.1 new byte for each 1 byte of your balance, even if your bytes are not on linked Byteball addresses.
You also receive 0.21111 blackbytes for each 1 byte of your balance on the linked Byteball addresses.

right?

Right (mind the linking to get blackbytes).

To receive blackbytes (BB/GBB) if you do not have any yet, try doing it this way: start a chat with paired device, click INSERT ADDRESS in chat menu, now the owner of the blackbytes can click your address and he will see an option to send blackbytes to you. You will need some bytes in your wallet to pay the fee for the blackbyte transfer.

Oh, thank you very much. I really like the distribution schema of Byteball.

Is there an official schedule of all upcoming distribution dates (plus the distribution schema) or at least the schedule for the third distribution.
This information would be very helpful to spread the word.
Every full moon. Find the dates when the moon shines in full, that is when bytes are distributed

Would be nice if you could add two new columns with the distributed amount which is given through linked Bitcoins and existing Byteballs. When I know rightly, one get 10% of new Byteballs based on the account's Byteball balance.
What amount of Byteball's does one get for one linked Bitcoins in the next distributions? Does the amount of 0.0625 GB/BTC remain constant?

I thought about the distribution and seems like 10% compound interest is awesome  Shocked

Actually, the 10% rule is in round 2 and round 3, in subsequent rounds it might change ... The same goes for the BTC rate, and moreover, one can only speculate on the linked amounts ...

What amount of Byteball's does one get for one linked Bitcoins in the next distributions? Does the amount of 0.0625 GB/BTC remain constant?

In the next round (the third), the rate stays the same.

There's a typo in your address, it should be Y instead of O at the end, but that's not the issue.

So yes, your addresses are linked and you got the corresponding amount of bytes.

Do you have the latest version? On Android it's still 1.2.0 but on other OS it's 1.3.0, you can get it here: https://github.com/byteball/byteball/releases/tag/v1.3.0. Is your device synced?
