Byteball is making great progress as I think this happening due recent bonus all holders will get 2x amount. This coin is looking more promising than ever so it's worth to hold it for long term than it will touch its peak price which will be over $1000

Where the price are going it is enough to be excited having some bytes in my wallet. It is highest price for any coin which was given to people for free and still is being distributed. It is because of cheating proof formula which caused of healthier and solid growth. Waiting for next round of distribution already.
It will probably drop a bit after the distribution but overall if things end up like the last few distributions we will end up ahead which is awesome! Agree. There will be some after the distribution each month that want to move elsewhere for a few weeks and punt on their chances. I looked at that but decided I'd just HODL minus any fiat needs (modest and maybe not needed). I want to do what I can to make sure that once distribution ends there is incentive to keep it. There's a chance that it may equal 1Gbyte = 1BTC by year end. That's a second chance for those that missed the first wave (BTC). In fact if I get yet another person asking be about BTC I'd say consider BB as it's not the same, but with enough involvement of developers could eclipse ETH and offer similar properties at BTC investment price that is currently at a discount with incentives. I'll forgo some BB to provide incentive to good developers, and like to think others would contribute 1% or something as well, for a win all around. We as a community could walk all over ETH (meaning MSFT, JPM, BP etc).....or it could come to nought. What are your feelings about this? |

Btw, if anyone has a use case for BBB then I have a chunk that I'd be prepared to convert at an advantageous rate for buyer, as my immediate plans are about boosting BB uptake with the masses rather than privacy.

How does the transition bot work? I've seen the clear screenshots in the OP. Visited https://byteball.org and click the link to chat with the Transition Bot. The link opens the new wallet and is supposed to start a chat. But Transition bot doesn't say anything or give any instructions. Is there some command needed or manual settings? Edit: I'm using Win10 light wallet (1.8.5 light) |

hmm..distrib is really uneven..take example on MINEREUM for distrib more equitable..this bank schema of distrib is really disgusting.
I suggest you participate in MINEREUM since you like their distribution scheme and you not participate in BYTEBALL since their distribution scheme is so really disgusting. Don't let the door slam you in the butt on the way out.
Byteball needs to keep a decent capitalization to not be attacked by spamming. By distributing according to richness, you make sure that people can afford to hold the bytes you give them.
are yu stupid or focking crazy..this user will gets 1% of money supply at each rounds and yu tell me thats is focking secure !? he have 1% of money supply and he will more 2x at each rounds..may be gets 20 or 30 % at ending..what yu want ? centralized bbs ? WTF? Why the need to be so offensive? WHy don't you just try to make your point or give some rationale without being so mean? How old are you? Why the hell are you hanging around here then? If you are so upset by the distribution method then move along. There are plenty of other alt for you to choose from. I'm trying to link some addresses, but Transition bot doesn't respond again. Last time I tried was 10 days ago, and it worked fine.
Any idea when it will be available again? The Transition bot is the only problem I've ever encountered with Byteball.
It works again, that was fast. After the airdrop it took days to reset, this is better.

Byteball has the best distribution model of all alts. No ICO, no greedy devs, no premine scammers, no miners at all. Pure perfection. The ones whining are just butthurt because they are either ETH fanboys or just mad because they "didn't buy BB when it was cheap". Typical. And then they refuse to buy right now even though BB is still massively undervalued. You better go buy some more ETH then!
You right. You damn right. Distribution is not perfect but i agree with all your point. No mining. No Ico, no premine and supply is limited. I have same view with few "BUT's " but in general im happy i own some Gbytes. I even shows in richest list in 2xx part. Feels great...... You are going to be very rich, that sure is a great feeling  |

Virustotal showing a false positive for the new release: https://virustotal.com/en/file/5f354d788beff835ca24ad297c8501eb9f8f56eb72dff309a0377c7e988dd5f8/analysis/1496352458/My antivirus flagged it as malware and tried to isolate it. When I try to open the file (windows 64 bit lightweight version) it says I can't access it and that I might not have the permissions needed. I'm pretty annoyed because there's no visible option to just update the old version. I had to download the new one altogether and now it won't let me open it. Any advice?
EDIT: sorted this out. New version still doesn't make bots work though. This is getting irritating. |
