So I backed up my wallet on an older PC, then installed on a new PC and restored the wallet there. Deleted on the older PC. I didn't receive any Byteballs this round, even though my BTC were previously linked on the older PC. Is this normal?

I would say if the wallet address in the new PC is the same as the old PC then you should have received the distribution. Check the byteball explorer and examine your address.  Perhaps your linked address was from a previous distribution and you did not re-link for this round?. Or perhaps you need to client to finish syncing. Good luck.

What I am saying is, how is giving more shit to people who already own shit to be seen as a fair distribution?

The problem is how to distribute it more fairly. If you say everyone gets the same amount e.g. 1GBYTE, then people will cheat and register themselves multiple times. Then the guys who are best at cheating will get the biggest amount.
If you say everyone gets GBYTES for BTC up to e.g. 100 BTC to exclude whales, then whales will cheat by distributing their coins to many addresses. Then the whales who are best at cheating will get the biggest amount.
With the current version it is atleast "fair" in a sense that cheaters are not rewarded.

Great job tony! With this equivalent 16 BTC should equal to 5 GB in terms of the distribution to get the same amount of GB, so 1GB = 16/5 = 3.2 BTC is our target? Not impossible, given that there's only 1 million GB around... If the Byteball is becoming a platform (which it could really be, given the many advantages it has), it will be big.

Current price of GBYTE is a joke comparing to potential it has. Yes, it can drop below but I will hold my gb.

I suspect that big holders of Byteball are keeping quiet because they want to have more distributions to have a higher share. The big holders are also BTC whales, I expect them to launch a hype after the distribution has finished that will put Byteball next to Bitcoin and Ethereum (rightfully so).

Another distribution method was clams.  It gave every address a certain amount.  It's a good thing it was a one time thing else people would simply be generating millions of addresses and sending dust to them all.

In this case, there is really only a few options to send coins to people.  I like the idea of even giving out byteballs (only it's only done with blackballs) in a delayed order from highest quantity to lowest.  From what I've seen, then bigger holders of Gbyte are keeping them.  It's the smaller amounts that are sold/dumped for the free money.  I haven't sold any, but I have given them away to a few people only to spread the word.

Also, distributing in this way means that people who truly believe in crypto enough to have invested a lot of money/time are the one that are likely to hold and value what they're getting.
