I went to that address you linked and it says that: "   Address is linked (good!), with a balance of bytes 0 and BTC 0 You will receive 0 bytes and 0 Blackbytes during round number 7.  "
even though I have a few gbytes in the wallet/address. What could be wrong?

What address?

Look at the explorer.
https://explorer.byteball.org

Let us know the BB or the BTC address and we can check.

I found the correct addresses in the preferences/advanced/wallet-information setting. So now I have some GB in one address and some GB in another address, all in the same wallet. And the visible "My Byteball Address" that shows 3gb  has actually zero balance. Should I just send the byteballs back to a exchange and then back to my wallet to "combine them" and then redo the thingy with the bot or what?

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

You can send them to yourself, no need to use an exchange at all

UPDATE :

698,527 btc linked  which will bring approx. : 43,641 gb

and we have 255,492gb in circulation which will bring : 51,098 gb more after airdrop

So

255,492+51,098+43,641= 350,231 Gb in total in circulation after give away.

Yes that's 1/3 of all gbytes.

Yes i think in this rate we will have at least 4 more airdrops

You know why all alts are RED? Cause everybody is converting alts to BTC to participate in ByteBall airdrop  Grin

some people i know are going back into btc before it splits in the hard fork because they want a coin on each chain
obviously ,the big blocks chain with 90%+ support  will win but if lukes 1mb chain doesnt die it they might make a profit from it too
What a bullshit. If hardfork occurs both chains will be massively devalued.

ok, u should sell now if you believe that ,hungry whales will be happy to take your coinz cheap.....Wink

Just my perspective...
We have little jihad who thinks he can be CEO of bitcoin.
We have whales who knows that bitcoin is winner between fiat-btc game.
We had PBOC and china banning btc so many times i lost count.

SO

All this fear is created to accumulate cheap coins. No one noticed that recent drops of btc was nothing? Thats how u making money, by making fear.
There will be no fork, there will be no splits. Just FUD.
Not the first time jihad and gang trying some buslhit to have cheaper coins.

Edit:

If you need safety net, hedge your btc against other alts. they cheap as hell now.

Very good position. Correctly, all this negative sensation around the segvit is done with one single goal - to buy the cheap bitcoins before the MegaPump.

Is it sure that this split will happen? If yes, then people have only one advantage, if the value of a splitted up Bitcoin is more than before. This worked with Ethereum and Ethereum Classic , but if it will work for Bitcoin too, remains questionable. I'm skeptical.

By the way: Two days to go for the next distribution. Last month was my first participation and I made a mistake so I only got a few bits of Byteball. This time I hope I did everything right and I will rewarded fully Smiley

it seems the Sweep Private Key function is 'unimplemented'.. so basically you wanna run Byteball on air-gapped offline computer, do a full wallet backup, encrypt the file, save the public key from that wallet, and give that to transition bot on online computer (along with signed copy of public key from offline wallet, signed with your bitcoin private key).  This seems like easiest way to do cold storage, eh?

in the future there should be a way to generate public/private key pairs with byteball on offline computer, so that you can sweep private key with online computer or something else (like sign transaction offline, then put that transaction has on online computer or something).

(i cant find my byteball private keys)

Users do not know how to use 1.9.1 new wallet automatically hide the amount of function. If you can choose to hide the function may be better.

[reminder]

Beware of change addresses in your BTC wallet AND in your byteball wallet for the next distribution round!

Byteball distribution companion helps you.

          Is you address properly linked?
Is your linked BTC balance what you expected?
Are all your bytes on your byteball linked address?
          How much will you receive?

+Bookmark. Once distribution has started you can follow in near real time when bytes arrive in your wallet. Enjoy!
I went to that address you linked and it says that: "   Address is linked (good!), with a balance of bytes 0 and BTC 0 You will receive 0 bytes and 0 Blackbytes during round number 7.  "
even though I have a few gbytes in the wallet/address. What could be wrong?
Don't be confused between "wallet" and "address". Your few Gbytes must be on a change address within you wallet. Move all your bytes to your "main" (aka linked) Byteball address.

[edit] oups... read in the meantime that you fixed the problem.

Is anyone able to transact?

Bittrex mentions that no blocks have been produced for over 4 hours....

No.  It's been down for 4 hours.
