how many airdrops will we have more?

at least 2, probably 3, 4 is possible. Grin (it depends how many people link BTC and if distribution changes)

i'm surprised to see fewer BTC linked now than at last snapshot.

So we are looking at airdrops wrapping up by end of the year.

Any idea what is in line post-airdrop era?

Ah grasshopper, if you can see into the future please let us know! :/

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

a lot of linking will be lost with people moving coins around in anticipation of this bitcoin cash stuff.

People still have a week after August 1 to complete the linking. For anybody who holds substantial amount of bitcoins, it shouldn't be too much of a bother to ensure that this is done.

Just by the way, I got headless byteball working. Apparently 0.5 GB of RAM is not enough to run npm install script, but adding 1 GB of swap will get it done. Also, you definitely do need newer version of node/npm than whatever is in 16.04 repo by default.

it seems plenty of people blow it even when there isn't something like this to distract them. i've nearly done it myself.

I also am preparing to re-link my new addresses to byteball in order to qualify for next round of distribution. Everything was working fine and now lot of people are going through painful process of downloading and moving of coins from wallets to wallets. I have same opinion that we will see less bitcoins linked this time than previous distributions.

I hope there is 3+ but its very possible people are waiting for the last min to link as thats what I did last time around. Linked up a day or two before just. Time will tell but lets hope for atleast 3 more Smiley

Those people will probably link back just before the distribution. Because of the possible issues with bitcoin, some people moving out, but after Aug 1st, many will be back.

Am I the only one who is experiences an extremely long waiting time for the android wallet to synchronize in a 1of3 wallet after having transferred to that wallet a lot of blackbytes?

Not sure because of blackbytes wallet will take so much time of syncing. I just checked it's synced in 5-10 seconds.

The whole day has passed and still BOTH of my android devices show no blackbytes and tell my they are synchronising...

I expect BTC price go up slightly before the byteball distribution but after that people will move their coins and sell them. lets see what happens on august 1st !

Nothing will happen on august 1 except BCC trying to scam people into FOMO, can't believe people are still being sold BS about what will happen to BTC. I thought with time the manipulation would decrease, like a year ago you needed some exchange hacks or fake news about a country banning BTC to make people panic and dump, it seems like now you need even less. I wonder why is that, maybe more and more clueless people are invested in crypto ? I'm curious what will the new fake scare shit be after segwit is finally locked (which is inevitable, it will 100% happen and BTC will go even higher than it is now with much reduced fees). I can't wait for BB to be fully distributed, price will stabilize and be ready for real world day to day usage.

August 1st is the great unknown here, what happens from now until then AND how the bitcoin fork will affect the rest of the crypto world. It could be a rollercoaster, better fasten your seatbelts!

The next distribution will be on the full moon of August 7, 2017 at 18:10 UTC. Better link your BTC balance at this point before its too late.

don't expect a serious pump until the airdrops are over. there will probably be 3 or 4 more airdrops, so October/November is when distribution period ends.  at that point its 0% inflation.  i would expect the final post-airdrop dumps to finish within a month of final airdrop.  Byteball already has a good price and nice market cap for a brand new coin with no ICO.  I expect a massive rally to start at end of 2017 or beginning of 2018.  Massive.

most of the market is unaware that DAGs are fundamentally different than blockchains.  also, many Byteballers will be remaining silent until the airdrops are over because everybody wants to partake in as many distributions as possible.  there is going to be a lot of pumping from many big players as soon as the last airdrop is over.

Is there a way to backup Byteball windows wallet to a small sized file? When I try the backup complete wallet option, its creating a backup file size in GBs. Is it because blackbytes transactions are only stored locally?
