you get bonus on GBYTE no matter what.

you only get blackbyte bonus on GBYTE if it is linked to a bitcoin address (which could be empty--you can do this in 2 seconds with a blockchain.info address, or on Electrum).

so 20% extra GBB + 40% extra blackbytes right?

isnt it much profitable to buy GBB with your BTC rather than link BTC or am i missing something? (assuming price of GBB/BTC remains same)

There is no reward for the blackbytes because they are private and it's not publicly known you own them.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

even if you ignore blackbytes,

for 1 btc linked you get 0.0625 GBB or 0.015 BTC which is 1.5%
for 1 btc bought you get 20% more in GBB

is this right or theres more to it?

assume btc/gbb price remains same

if i buy say 1 gb from bittrex today on a new account, will i get 0.2 gb added after the airdrop?
You don't get any airdrop if you leave your bytes on Bittrex.

assume btc/gbb price remains same
This assumption is wrong, right after every airdrop the price has dropped due to people selling their free coins.

Selling before the airdrop and buying back a while after works like clockwork.

As more gbyte arrive i suspect the price per unit will reduce in the short term but it's still profitable if timed right.

i understand, but assume price remains same and i have the  gbb in my wallet. the gbb balance increases by 20% automatically right?

Yes but the price absolutely will not remain the same. You could've more than doubled your gbyte if youd sold before the last distribution and bought recently.

yes i know that, but long term especailly after the 3 airdrops, it should be more profitable than just linking

Why has the price rebound recently? Is it because of the distribution of the reasons, or because of the BCC, I do not know whether or not to go on those larger exchanges, in short, I feel Zhuang ready to enter

The price always rebounds just before a distribution. People want more gbyte for more gbyte.

Regardless of the price, you will get 20% Byteballs + 42% Blackbytes extra on each Airdrop Automatically.
This is the best Airdrop ever IMO.

No. Don't mix up the terms.   GB vs GBB

20% on GB    (Giga Bytes)
42% (approx) on GBB  (Giga Black Bytes)

I think the confusion is people keep mixing up GB with GBB.

You get GB and GBB for linking your Byteball address with BTC.
GB gets 1:16 ratio for BTC  (Example.... 16BTC linked gives you 1 GB)
GBB gets you about a 1:8 ratio from the BTC

Bonus....
GB to GB is 20%.    So, if you own 1GB, after the airdrop, you have 1.2GB  (not including any new GB from an airdrop if BTC still linked)

Better example.....

Let's say you have 16BTC.   On July airdrop, 16BTC would have earned you exactly 1GB.    If you didn't change anything (still own the 16BTC in the same linked address), then on Aug airdrop, you would have...

1GB (prior balance) + 20% bonus + 1GB (new airdrop) = 2.2GB

Going forward: Following month airdrop (if nothing changed), you would have.....
2.2GB (the now prior balance) + 20% bonus + 1GB (new airdrop) = 3.64GB

I am buying Byteballs on permanent basis but when price is reasonable not in panic like you. I also am not repeating your pattern of selling/buying. Just follow the market soon there will extremely perfect moment when buying will much more profitable. It is usual routine in byteball.

UPDATE :

982176 BTC llinked  which will bring approx. : 61,386 gb

and we have 365,903gb in circulation which will bring : 73,180 gb more after airdrop

So

365,903+73,180+61386= 500,469 Gb in total in circulation after give away.

That's 50% of all gbytes.

Yes i think in this rate we will have 3 more airdrops
.

Distribution :   0.0625 Gb for each 1 BTC of linked balance and 0.2 new byte for each 1 byte you already hold.
131.94375 MBB for each 1 BTC of linked balance and 0.42222 new Bbyte for each 1 byte you already hold (on linked addresses only).
