Is there any cap on the maximum amount to get from each wallet linked? like one BTC max for each wallet or how many bitcoins we have in our account will get same amount airdrops?

Secondly now when I open wallet asking for an upgrade to a newer version but in my wallet now have already coins. Do I need to move my coins to another wallet before upgrading or I can just upgrade it?

Thanks for your time...

To be clear on a response you received...

The cap is the number of bitcoin in existence.  Smiley

Upgrade the app.  It is stored in a different directory than your wallet.  So, it isn't touched.  You will not get a new wallet simply from upgrading.   Now, with that said, you should always backup your wallet.

Hmm... for the last month something keeps shooting GB back every time it breaks $600. Looks like there's no ATH in sight this time.

Yeah, ICONOMI has been selling for the last month, they claimed to sell over 2398 ByteBall.

They still hold twice as much and will get another 20% tomorrow.
I wish Dev change the rule forbid companies to participate for the airdrop.

Why.  They have proven that they have stake in the game by getting that many BTC to link in the first place.  So, they have proven they are also not likely to simply dump the free bytes since they held on to the bitcoin.

What currently gives GB value is people not selling.  Who better to give a proportional value to than someone (or company) that has proven to hold on to things?

If you want more GB, you could just buy it or convert your bitcoin to it.

I think Iconomi will be some time soon sorry they sold "early".
Still, no one got broke taking a profit.

As I read their statement, it actually seems like they still increased
their position in Byteball?!

Anyhow, I am not pleased with their behavior. I wish they would have
been stronger hands. I will look forward to their future reports to see
if they are made of the stuff that manages to hold money, not bleed it.

don't let me make you question your assumptions

They've made the rules clear when they announced byteball. Good thing exchanges are not included. If Iconomi actually will not sell their GBYTE, they get more in the next airdrop, and what donyou think will they do with their "assets"?

Rules can be changed. ICONOMI changes their rule in the middle of the game too.
They suppose to give all investors dividend every quarter, yet they change to buy back shares instead.

Well, there is no way to find out if the exchange participates or not.

Actually... Iconomi is an "Assets Management Platform" aka exchange.

Hi all,
I am currently running version 1.9.1 Should I update to 1.10.0 before the airdrop or could I continue using the 1.9.1 version.
I have a few GB and Blackbytes in my wallet and I am afraid I might lose them and my linked BTC wallets if I upgrade. Hope someone knows if it is safe to keep using 1.9.1 as it has been working perfectly for me all this time.
Thanks!

The linked address will not change after you upgrade to 1.10.0 from 1.9.1.

[reminder]

Beware of change addresses in your BTC wallet AND in your byteball wallet for the next distribution round!

Byteball distribution companion helps you.

          Is you address properly linked?
Is your linked BTC balance what you expected?
Are all your bytes on your byteball linked address?
          How much will you receive?

+Bookmark. Once distribution has started you can follow in near real time when bytes arrive in your wallet. Enjoy!

I don't think I'd click on any link in these forums unless it's on the main front page.  Careful out there people.

It took so long to sync my wallet. It's been 8 hours. And my balance didn't appear yet. I send some gbyte 8 hours ago. Is there any remedy to be able to transfer my balance to light wallet. I tried it buy got an error different database.

Whats the current size of the DAG? Im on a slow conection and Im not sure I could synch it

About 7,5GB, you should run your wallet as lite and not full wallet.

Thanks for your time...

- No cap.
- Just upgrade it.

Cool, Freefactomizer, thanks! Wink

Hi, can i cancel my sale order in the "Byte-BTC Exchange" Bot?
Is this possible?

when you text "set price" to the bot you'll get this:
After your order is added to the book, you'll be able to change your price but you can't withdraw the original funds without completing an exchange. Deposit fee is 0.2% and it is the only fee charged.
