It's cool and it will be a great boost for the new year. From that article, I can not find any points relate to KYCs. How about the Obyte team plan for KYC (required or not) on the coming DEX?
That doesn't sound very decentralized if the DEX is doing KYC, but since Obyte has already Real Name Attestation built-in, the official DEX might ask some details of your private profile, don't know yet.
But, since it will be open-source DEX, anybody can run their own DEX with different pairs and without any KYC.

By the way, regarding to future plans, how about promotions and / or coorporations with other parties to expand the betting features of Obyte? I think Obyte is good enough to be used widely over casinos.
Not sure if Sports Betting on Obyte is so unpopular because of lack of features or limited amount of sports events. Autonomous Agents could make Sports Betting even more decentralized, but the basics are already there, getting people to even use the basic features is the problem https://bb-odds.herokuapp.com/

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I've seen Obyte has now started a discussion on Twitter/Reddit on the them of the draw - to continue or not this distribution lottery or to change it into perhaps a daily or even a hourly draw. As I've said in the past, I'd be in favor of either abolishing the lottery, or perhaps turn it into a daily/hourly one, which at least would benefit many more people. Concerns of price dumping if the lottery is abolished are quite irrelevant in my view - sooner or later the distribution will end and we'll have to face the market anyway.

Can you explain how having no incentive to HODL bytes on your address will not cause dumping and how the "distribution will end sooner or later" if stopped distribution will mean that undistributed funds will take even longer to be distributed? Not sure I understand this logic.

At current distribution rate and current price, distribution fund has 4-6 years runway, only thing that can speed up the distribution is either worse GBYTE price or even more bytes distributed every day. Obyte needs predictable distribution rate, Draw Airdrop currently has that, any other distribution method that could provide that? Except mining, that's stupid. Obyte already distributes via WCGrid.

Thank you. There are limited decentralized exchanges and even they self-called as DEX, they are not truly decentralized. I asked for the information with KYC requirement plans from the team because months ago, the Crypto Bridge (an old DEX) asked for KYC aims at US. citizens first, then they moved to KYCs globally and finally they made scam-exit. That's terrible. I don't say DEX built by Obyte will be a scam one, just ask for plans and transparent information.

From the basics, it will be good for Obyte generally (volume, liquidity, acceptance and price at the end) if the betting features of Obyte will be spred out and used more popularly.

Gosh, seems I missed the point. What was that about distribution lottery? Any  link for more details?

On the website https://obyte.org/#dist, you can see it mentioned as:

Quote
Prizes for winners and referrers of winners in the weekly draw.

Note that it has become a bi-weekly draw since the introduction of the AA contest

The medium article about it: https://medium.com/obyte/weekly-draw-for-the-byteball-community-f464ae731c88

Linked addresses, winners, rules an other info can be found here: http://draw.obyte.org/

It looks very unique and easy to understand, hopefully with this DEX can make a slight surge in prices, I know this obtye used to be very expensive in exchange. But for now it is still fairly expensive even though there is no positive trend from the market.

Obyte Bytes are not expensive, Bytes supply is 2.1 times smaller than Bitcoin satoshis. Even if you divide Bitcoin price with 2.1, you still don't get comparable prices.
https://twitter.com/tarmo888/status/1145423268951863297

You could compare the prices by looking how much bytes vs satoshis is needed for transaction:
For Bitcoin, average is 250 bytes * satoshis per byte.
For Obyte, typical transaction takes more than 500 Bytes. Multiple inputs and multi-device could easily double that. Autonomous Agents will also increase the need of Bytes.

So, if you see some shitcoin, which "looks cheap" then look how the supply looks like in smallest unit size (bytes, satoshis, wei) and how much of that you need to do even basic transactions on that platform. Without fees, you only have speculation value in that token, which all the other coins have too.

If they are so expensive, sell your bags and leave, you are useless to the project. You are not helping.
Or are you committed to get the price even lower, so you could buy low? you know - buy low, sell high.

I haven't watched TV for months, I guess everyone has their own ways how to waste time, but Playstation and TV are quite useless to spend money on.

There's a rather large buy order on Bittrex:

~snip~

Seems to go down in price a bit every day.

If anyone is interested in selling 1000GB or more, I'll give a better price.

You will not find any seller here. Why don't you just go into an exchange and set a buy order with your "better price". In that sense, you will not have to go into hiring some escrow and do those cumbersome things. It is much easier doing such things in an exchange.

Lortz if you are concerned with Bittrex's KYC, you can go to cryptox.pl, someone might sell in your order there.

Putting large orders on no-liquidity pairs just pushes the price away. I want a large trade without messing with exchange nonsense.

If anyone's interested, please mail me at Lortzi@protonmail.com.

Putting large orders on non-liquid pairs adds more liquidity. Recently saw quite big sell order filled, took couple of days, but it got filled.

Does the BEEB BlackByte to Byteball exchange bot still work? I have a few old contracts there with BlackBytes locked up... I don't know how to cancel these... can anyone assist?
Is there still a market for BlackBytes at all?

Obyte is at its very cheap price, and its temp price is much cheaper if we look at its huge potential for future rock. I remembered that in 2018, one Byte was worth around 0.003 BTC (not check price history, but I hope my memory is not too bad), compared to its temp price now I thought if someone has still hesitated to invest in Obyte, he should never reconsider any investment in Obyte because without belief they will sell their coins at dumps in the future, whenever it happens, at whatever price.
