I have heard a lot about spreading then news about Bitcoin. I still think that social media is the answer to that. I mean Facebook already has a seventh of the world’s population. Youtube is also growing fast. I also know that many people in this forum have Youtube channels. I am wondering if we can get any ads relating to Bitcoin on the videos that they post. Is it possible?

If it is, I would like to have this thread dedicated to ads that can be put on youtube. Let others know about this wonderful cryptocurrency.

Only someone who has excessive amount of money would spend such money to help the bitcoin community. Even without the Youtube advertising, Bitcoin will grow and grow because people will eventually come to talk about Bitcoin. I also notice that the advertisements on Youtube are all from huge companies which is basically a sign that small companies can't afford to put advertisements on Youtube.

The best answer for me, because bitcoin is too vague, about the creator,companies or foundation and other elements are having relationships with the background of bitcoin and there is no parties is handle bitcoin at this time.

However, if a private company uses bitcoin, they can somehow promote their product and bitcoin so that they can get more customers.

most of the businesses that run on bitcoin will usually advertise in places that have the most bitcoin users like forums that are related to cryptocurreneis. and one of the biggest places is here on this forum in form of forum ads and also signature campaigns.

and as for bitcoin itself, it is too expensive for individuals to advertise bitcoin on youtube!

It is good idea making ads on YouTube but it is must services who can take income are like markets,cloud mining services and another service. Because if we just make ads about bitcoin only, we can not getting profit on there.

Implementing about the advertisement of bitcoin we can considering if bitcoin is already advertise into some of form advertise, it's not about via online advertising but bitcoin is already advertising with their users, some project is advertising their project and put bitcoin into their advertise and another from that, but it's about a lot of people in the community it's not wanna gonna for using a new method in their life and already choosing their comfortable payment. maybe that is true if bitcoin is managing by companies will very usefull on their advertisement thing.

Chances are people are going to think that Bitcoin is a business if anything, assuming you have a decent ad created for it. It might get a few people interested, however I don't think that I've ever bought a product brought forwards by a Youtube ad, and typically I don't go and research them. People are more often interested in skipping the ad than they are interested in the ad itself.

Might be a good idea, but I personally am not interested.

if you want to advertise about "bitcoin" itself you can start a youtube channel yourself, why wait for others to do it. since you have the idea then do it yourself. go to some of those youtube channels and see what they are doing to learn it and then start one yourself talking about bitcoin and introducing it.

There are companies in the Bitcoin scene, who would benefit a lot from Ad's in mainstream social media. They have a marketting budget, and most of them write that off as a expense for TAX purposes. The funding for this, is not going to be a problem, but I would rather invest that money into a cool video that can be placed on Youtube.  Get something funny that would go viral. ^smile^

What type of ads are you talking about?

Paid advertising or just people with channels to submit ads for free?

Yes,this is possible,but some people might promote some bitcoin ponzi/cloud mining scams.

I think the responsibility for this is lying with the bitcoin companies. They are the ones that are relying on new customers, as well as have a marketing budget.

I'm not sure how effective youtube would be, though it will target people that are interested in the investment field due to targeted ads.

But I guess most people that would consider getting in bitcoin are running adblockers, reducing the effect of the ads again.

That would be a great idea because the best way to encourage or make people interested with bitcoins is through advertisements.  But the question would be who would make the advertisement?  You could do the video of bitcoin and then post here the link to gather more views.  If we all here make it like a million views then you could earn through videos from youtube.  And you could also put the google adsense to your video so you will be paid everytime people watched the bitcoin videos.

Actually bitcoin is not run by a foundation or company so i dont think there will be any rich guy who just like to spend few hundreds just to promote bitcoin. You can see lots of bitcoin service related ads running in youtube but never seen ads just to promote what bitcoin is.

It is good that you are advertising about bitcoin , but it is already getting published on so many sites , but you may need to do it in another way like which no one has done it earlier about bitcoin , probably adding the very good info ,how exactly it is benefiting etc.

we could organize a fundraiser in the forum where you can donate. and set a deadline and some goals. like this amount will be enough to pay for a billboard, this amount will pay for youtube or national tv and if we get enough we could air a superbowl commercial.

exactly, who will do that?
however there are many company that related with bitcoin, let say coinbase, purse.io or other but untill this day i never seen them advertised their product or their service on youtube, i think they just promote their service to bitcoin comunity, they will get more benefit than  promote to those who don't know anything about bitcoin.

Eventually the day will come when some are confident enough to do this. If you think about the amount of people aware of bitcoin comparing today to lets say 2010 or before, the number has increased exponentially. In time people will start to become aware of it and it will increase as time goes by. Just give it some time and let things work themselves out they way they should. You never know, maybe someday someone with enough money will come around and try to spread the word a bit more, but there's got to be some sort of benefit for this person as well or that is unlikely to happen.
