I have heard a lot about spreading then news about Bitcoin. I still think that social media is the answer to that. I mean Facebook already has a seventh of the world’s population. Youtube is also growing fast. I also know that many people in this forum have Youtube channels. I am wondering if we can get any ads relating to Bitcoin on the videos that they post. Is it possible?

If it is, I would like to have this thread dedicated to ads that can be put on youtube. Let others know about this wonderful cryptocurrency.

if you mean something like facebook pages about bitcoin, twitter accounts tweeting about bitcoin, or youtube channels having some bitcoin related videos like what bitcoin is or how to create a wallet, buy bitcoin , and all that. then there are already many of them available and spreading the news about bitcoin so to speak.

but if you mean the ads on youtube (google adsense I believe is what its called) that is going to cost a lot of money to advertise that way.

It's a great idea, unfortunately putting ads on YouTube costs money and I don't think we can realistically expect members of the community to pay for them. However there is no reason why for people who post videos on YouTube, can't promote Bitcoin to their viewers on their own. And it doesn't have to be an active/aggressive campaign either, subtle promotion like wearing a Bitcoin T-shirt or having Bitcoin paraphernalia in the background can work great too I think.

What I know from youtube. they usually serve ads from google adsense. so to place an bitcoin related ads you need to go to adword first..
BTW for your kind information I saw there are some bitcoin related ads shown in youtube. those were about to bitcoin related forex exchanges..

There is no problem in sharing the good things to others about in bitcoin. But we shouldn't forget the bitcoin is a kind of decentralized and peer to peer currency, That none of us neither the banks, or the government cannot control it.

I presume you mean those annoying ads that you are forced to watch on youtube before a video you actually want to watch.

The problem is I think those adverts probably cost a lot to do. Who from the bitcoin community is willing to pay, probably nobody I guess.

yes its possible to get ads relating to bitcoin but its depend on your keyword. youtube integrated with google adwords and use the right keyword to server the right ads in your youtube channels. so you should search the right keyword that related to your channels and your video.

regarding from your post, and the advertising of bitcoin is already putting in the youtube but it's just and additional things in the advertisement because i never see the ads is fully related with bitcoin in this time and especially in the common site.

that would be great more and more people will know bitcoin and hopefully they will use it they are also bitcoin gamblers in youtube like adam guerez and some non popular

Only someone who has excessive amount of money would spend such money to help the bitcoin community. Even without the Youtube advertising, Bitcoin will grow and grow because people will eventually come to talk about Bitcoin. I also notice that the advertisements on Youtube are all from huge companies which is basically a sign that small companies can't afford to put advertisements on Youtube.

I think if bitcoin related companies promote themselves with ads,that will promote the bitcoin indirectly.I zaw an android wallet app running its ads on adsense and that made lots of people click it in curiosity.This way they also get to learn about bitcoin

Yes social media is a great way to spread the word about bitcoin and crypto-currency all over the world and showing ads on YouTube is one great way.But who will do it,why would any one will spend that much huge money to spread word about bitcoin,no one controls it.Just waste alot of money just to let people know about bitcoins,no one will do it.

I have never seen a Bitcoin a on Youtube before is this news or has this been around for a linger time?
Either way this is good for Bitcoin because it will get allot of people to notice Bitcoin.

I don't think someone will spend money to advertise the bitcoin(why someone will do this? speculation price?lol), maybe they can advertise their sites related to bitcoin and bring more people to this scenario

Bitcoin and ads for me does not go well. Why? Because when you search in youtube BTC is associated mostly as a currency for HYIPs, which in most youtube watchers that are not open minded as others will immediately think BTC as a bad thing. But yes a good BTC advertisement explaining what it is will clear a lot of minds about Bitcoin in general. Also I don't think BTC needs a lot more promotion as BTC can do it for itself, thousands of faucet sites are available, many wallets for different countries are also available. BTC does not need promotion if people wants to earn money their is a strong chance they will stumble with BTC.

To advertise directly the bitcoin then it should be someone from the bitcoin founder (which is unknown) then the bitcoin devs but I don't think that they are interested in this, so nobody will advertise for something that they will not get any profit, but those companies that operate and accepts bitcoin these can advertise in YouTube.

The Bitcoin Foundation was suppose to do these kinds of things, with funding generated from donations and sponsorship, but they spend that budget

on salaries and travel expenses to arrange public discussions. Now they are bankrupt and you do not see anything they do for the community. The

community will now have to do the marketing and promotion themselves, or this experiment will stagnate.

If you have funds it is good idea to advertise bitcoin in youtube.. but i think you need a lots of budget to invest to advertise it in youtube..
Youtube is one of the largest traffic these year. and i  think it can help to promote bitcoin there..

It is Only Possible If Someone made A Service Which Will Pay you To Place Bitcoin Ads in Your Videos....
Or it is Possible If Bitcoin Ad Network Owners Will Start Advertising on YouTube....

I only know about AdSense in YouTube and ut is not bitcoin payment it is dollar. If you want bitcoin advertisement payment you need to create a website that has contain cpm bitcoin advertisement. You can also do faucet site as your niche here so that many will view on your website and get more traffic.

The thing is that bitcoin is not backed by anyone. The idea of advertising on YouTube is tempting, but expensive. We will all need to chip in to advertise like this. Simply saying "advertise so your bitcoin will be worth more in the future" is simply not enough.
