If if understand correcly, the data is used for "caching"? Does this mean that for optimal performance, the data should be stored on SSD for fast access time?

Also, shards seem to appear as *.data -- What maximum capacity can these shards achieve?

What kind of schedule for software releases can we expect? (Tweaks, optimisations, etc..). Note: your current link for githou does not work, why not use github?

Is there a mining stats link? Perhaps we could see participating miners.

I don't think people actually understand this project, technically the project sound abstract to non-tech people, the low interest is surprising, I think an article breaking down what this project actually do will be nice and what they stand to gain buy investing in the project. This happens to me when looking at Incent project until I read an article on what the project is all about, and I was glad I invested early to take early bird advantage. 

I agree.  Took me a bit to get the model and see the potential.

As I said, I really want to see this succeed but I'm not sure what you guys are doing promotion wise is adequate.

Golem sold out in 15 minutes and it's not as appealing to me as this project; there is a clear marketing problem from where I stand.

Again no activity or direct engagement on the ethtrader or ethereum subreddits (I did notice a single post today).

You should engage this community promptly; lots of large holders/traders and potential investors inhabit these subs; golem, first blood, arcade city, hackergold, augur, digix and gnosis have heavily used these channels for months prior to launching their ICO's to build awareness and generate hype.

I've given it a mention; met with some resistance; lots of cynical people but some direct engagement from your people/reps would help greatly.

This is a good project. It's worth succeeding. Please take heed.

Hi - that is a question I did put to Tony at the very start of my involvement with the project but they simply cannot set up the project for less. They have done the maths on this and it is purely a functional thing.

It makes sense since they are trying to break into a multi-million dollar industry which requires a level of investment to get off the ground. Like trying to become a Bitcoin miner - if you can get the equipment to start at a particular level you can be profitable. If you decide to only go halfway you will never get there.
