For the three-room apartment in Russia I pay the electric power of only $7,75 a month. Very cheap I consider it.

$7.75 for a whole month regardless how much units you consume, right?

I'm planning on setting up a mining room in Moscow, gathering details and stuff these days.

In Ukraine expensive electricity but a very complex tariff and the price keeps going up. Now for the first 100 kW, the price of 0.03 cents. The next 500 kW 0,06 0,09 cents and the next cents. Also, there is the night rate.

No, of course not. He means on average. Electricity pricing in Russia is from $0.024 to $0.14 per kWh depending on how much you consume per month. The more you consume the more you have to pay for kWh. So with a couple of miners you will have to pay $0.14 per kWh most likely.

I thought it might be neat to go around and share how much we all pay for electricity (or the equivalent at a hoster facility, etc)

I'll start:

11.0 cents / kWh    (Washington state)

here in our country we pay 8pesos per kWh ,so very expensive among other countries. sometimes they will shoulder to use the generation lost even though consumers doesn't need to pay for it because it is a lost. prices in electricity depends on oil, we have  the malampaya here, so when the oil hikes you need to know that the electricity payment will increase too. if only the government would invest a higher amount of money to renewable sources of electricity.

It is profitable to mine if the cost of power, even up to 10 dollar cents. The payback period today is like 12-15 months.

I live in Ukraine. I have a power of 0.05-0.08 cents per 1kW. There are also many opportunities for the use of electricity is generally free.

Are you sure about that? My very close relatives living there are paying $0.07 per kWh... and having a few mining rigs as well.

But I'm planning to make a bigger farm there.

$0.13 per kWh here in Pakistan... And sometimes the corrupt government even tempers the number of units consumed, increases it sometimes by 2x, don't really know how they do it, but that definitely happens sometimes. Roll Eyes

But... I still mine.

Corrupted government is bad for sure, but 0.13$ per Kwh is a normal price I guess, lot of people are mining at that price on electricity.

BTW you are from a very beautiful country and I haven't have a day without listening to Ali Khan

In my country, for general is around $0.10/ KWH, but If you live on apartment the price can bit higher. But If you got subsidy you can get it free, but you can't run miner on it.

It depends on how much you've used for month if we take a look at price's I pay under 100 KWh 0.025$ from 100KWh to 500KWh 0.035$ over 500 and higher 0.04$. It's cheap against other countries but salaries are not that big to pay that much for electricity
