I am in Chelan County Washington, and we have the benefit of the 3rd lowest electric rates in the country.  The average works out to $0.032/KWh with the meter and connection charges, but the real rate is $0.027/KWh.  If I ever move I will certainly be selling my MnC Neptune miners as I could not be profitable otherwise.

The cost of electricity in my country is a beat high as compared to some other country. I pay  $13 per month but the irony is that you sometime stay in a week without light but the bill remains the same at the end of the month. The situation here is pathetic and the government is not helping matter on the issue of electricity and other social amenities.

Solar is the only way for mining to be profitiable in denmark. Maybe wind as well, but the upfront cost is so damn high.
Maybe I should start up my old wood fueled generator ?

In Slovenia, Europe, it costs from EUR 0.048 to 0.073 which means 5.5 to 8.4 USD cents. This is in case you are paying fixed price for day and night. If you chose not-fixed price, it costs more during the day and less during the night.

Solar is the best one Mining from my point of view.Because we have to inverse only once and later all free.We have to spend only once for implementation. Then the electricity we get from panel is free. And the source is sunshine .We no need to pay for source again and again.

in addition to maintenance costs are very low, we can reduce operating costs every month. As long as the sun is still shining then we will still be able to use electricity for free. This is the alternative that should be used by the miners. They should be able to think that the cost of electricity will be more expensive. Because of the limited use of oil and coal, unless nuclear power has been successfully developed we may be able to get electricity at a low price. But it's still very long, so solar panels remain the best at the moment.

If you are frightened in paying electricity then you can try alternatives by making a panel of solar or wind power. I think the Philippines has a climate that fits this alternantive energy. Try it and you will get the benefit.

0.14€ EUR / kwh in France.

It's pretty high but still profitable with some GTX 1060s (70W per cards for 21mh/s)
I have also a second mining rig at work, for free.

Ya you try natural way to make the electricity for Mining. Since mine is the needed on for transactions. You must find the alternative way.You may try solar panels or wind or river turbines and much more.

Well solar panels are the best ways to generate electricity as it can be stored and make use of it in mining easily. Only thing is that the cost of solar panels in their country would need ot be considered as in some countries those are really expensive and may not a feasible option in such cases.

I thought it might be neat to go around and share how much we all pay for electricity (or the equivalent at a hoster facility, etc)

I'll start:

11.0 cents / kWh    (Washington state)

Wow man that's not cost effective at all. If you want start mining then just shift into cheaper country or county whatever is nearest. My country is having rate of 5 cents per kWh. I'm hoping that you will regret this thing but it wouldn't be profitable for you to mind. Moreover, having solar panels will also not help because the maintenances are far more than your mining rates.

Electricity consumption is really one of the problem for me. So before i started to run my mining rig, i compute the electricity consumption of every hardware i use and the major hardware that will gain so much electricity is your graphics card. So i think you really need to have budget for that and try to research about cards that your'e going to use before starting. Another thing is, the strong the card's like gtx 1080 ti the more it consume electricity. So try to research about hardware that your going to use.. so you can spend your money efficiently and budget your electricity consumption well.
