In here (Indonesia) , the electricity costs is $0.1/KWH (and keeps increasing every year  Sad ). This is quite high for 3rd tier country.
And top 5 of most expensive costs are in the SouthEast Asia , but It's ok and I've read posts above me  I see the costs is lower if it's compared with my country . And I'm amazed with other countries , and saying " This world is so huge" .

I thought it might be neat to go around and share how much we all pay for electricity (or the equivalent at a hoster facility, etc)

I'll start:

11.0 cents / kWh    (Washington state)
That's low here in my country we pay $0.008 cents dollar/kWh and this is really quite good when you have ant miner s9 to mine some of bitcoins and then you can really handle that into 24 hours running.

Its really very high for such a country like Indonesia, how I wish your government will do something about that so that the life of ordinary citizens will be improve. It is also good that you as a citizen of the country should try to come with ideas that can make or will contribute to the improvement of electricity supply for  everyone to appreciate.

But in here , the gov starts to building the new supply of electricity like from coal , water , and etc but there are lot of weakness still found from this supply . And in here , there are pre-paid payment system (Buy the KWH first before use it) . So , if you're lazy to pay your bill monthly this is an alternative for your budget but this isn't good for mining because your KWH get drained faster so for mining it's recommend for using standard system.

So your rate is .8 cents per kilowatt, is this possible including tax and delivery?

some power companies will allow you to set up a grid-tie inverter and store your solar harvest as credit in their system.

and you can buy 300W solar panels on ebay for like 90 bucks

300 watt panels for under $100 are used or grade c with defects and  probably don't include shipping which will probably add alo5 since they weigh about 50 pounds each.

Assuming you have a 33kw power inverter which isnt cheap for DC to ac conversion which is a large cost. 10 x  300 watt panels that can harvest a good sunny location for 9 hours in a day equals 27000 watts per day or 27kw. Let's assume you have a single miner that draws 1500 w so in a 24 hour cycle that consumes 36kw.  10 x 300 watt panels cannot even power 1 1500w miner. You still have to buy electricity off the grid and assume you don't add batteries  to hold some power if you are tied in to the grid. Batteries would be a huge cost.

Here in my country which is philippines. I dont know what is the rate per kwh but im not recommend to mine here because its not cheap. Also shortage are happens to often causes brownout. Its not wise and not profitable to mine here. Maybe if you run a solar panel enough to run mining. Maybe theres a profit.

You can also rent your miner on hosted companies like toom.im, greatnorthdata.com, oregonemines.com, bitclouder.co. They will charge from you from $70 - $135 monthy for electricity.

This rates sounds reasonable whether it includes tax or not when compare with what I paid for electricity in my country. Seems energy is a little bit cheaper in the United States. But when bitcoin goes higher price levels, I hope that I also will be able to afford mining again regardless of electricity costs in my country.

5 cents per kwh, Easter Europe, still very profitable for mining. Lots of opportunity to avoid paying the bill but personally, I always play it the honest way. Thinking of adding two more GPU rigs to my current portfolio.

So your rate is .8 cents per kilowatt, is this possible including tax and delivery?
I don't know if the tax is included the delivery is free and we need just to pay it from remittances or just simply pay it with our bitcoin wallets i am very thankful that here in my country they don't request to high per khs and still looking a way to make it more cheaper Smiley

Hey man, what is the meaning of P5,000 ? Is that the name of currency in your country or what ? if I may ask which country is that and what is the equivalent of that amount in US dollars ? Will be glad to hear response from you.

Not too much but not that cheaper it always balance when it comes in electricity and other bills in my home we'll it's pretty good that im not that in mining thing where it's really hard to eat electricity i saw in the replies that there are really more cheaper on the countries and also in the third world country.

5 up to 10 cents i think is very good low cost. You can mining for maximum hardware that you want and for RoI of you boughy Antminer S7 about 7 months only. You got luck as citizen on your country.

0,22 Cent here in germany!!!

Really fucking high... that's we needed to invent some kind of technologie here that could save some electricity.

I saw 10-30% reduced electricy cost... depends.
Also there was better productivity for the workers inside the area of the device.

However it's only for insiders and you really need to trust it for a year.
I saw many happy customers over time! Cheesy

In an unlikely case it doesn't work for your situation, you just give it back and get 75% money back.
I can get those expensive devices cheaper, as I have good contacts Wink
There are only limited amout of devices avaiable per year...

But maybe you should just go to china Cheesy

Here is the chart for mostly europe by the way

Nigeria produces electricity and sells at around 0.08cents/KwH... not bad for mining but we have such erratic power supply, you don't want to be caught mining. Grin
