Have u ever checked out Ixcoin?

Ixcoin is one of the oldest if not THE oldest altcoin.

Its a very special coin.

Have u ever checked it out? Have u ever bought some, traded some, acquired some IXC?

What is motivating u to check it out, and what is holding u back?

I used to trade IXC on Cryptsy and made some fantastic profits before the exchange went under. At the time Cryptsy were the only exchange trading IXC as CEX.io had stopped altcoin trading, I thought the coin was completely dead. I just noticed that IXC is now back and trading on Yobit, Cryptopia and CoinExchange.

Since its the oldest Altcoin out there (as far as I know), I think its nice to be supporting so I'm going to start trading again.

Lack of profitability, lack of use... all of the normal stuff why folks don't check out certain coins. Sort of cool
though that it's being kept alive. There is something to be said for perseverance.

But without a use, without a way to make money, why would anyone really care?

i just check a while it seems nice coin .. at yobit 1918 sat 
it is near by 6 or 1 year old maybe.. i dont have much info about this coin but i will invest in it

Yeah, maybe like 6 month old coin.  Could go below 1k sat but I think it's a good buy and hold.

(If I get my facts correct) IXC was the first ever alt coin to be forked from Bitcoin - Which for me is reason enough to keep it alive a little, and in my opinion it gives it some kudos that no other coin has. I thought it had completely died about a year ago. It used to trade between 5,000 and 10,000 satoshi when it was on cex.io and cryptsy, volume was never huge - but there was a bit of a loyal following which died a bit when Cryptsy did.
