Indeed. They are mostly wallet-builders coins anyway. I don't think a coin has a chance with long pow period these times, unless its something like zcash. Eventually it will die. Having a short period of PoW than switching to PoS seems more logical at this time. Owner of the coin will probably dump his premine and will create a new wallet builders coin right away.
