I'm pretty sure they that pre-december 2017 they didn't have a license.

Then, in early December 2017, they claimed to be acquired by another company (which likely wasn't true) in order to become licensed. (They also closed their poker room which was probably a reaction to their WTN Bug, and resulted in a whole other shit storm involving their massive 43+ BTC Bad Beat Jackpot,  you can read about that earlier in this thread)  At this point, they cut off players from several countries to become eligible for said license ( most notably - USA ).  Why would they do this if they weren't seeking a license?

Well most recently (past few days) they have reversed course and now welcome players from anywhere in the world (including USA) which leads me to believe they didn't have a license, then they decided they wanted to get one, then changed their mind.

I investigated a little bit and found some interesting info. That info lead to the possibility to sue the responsible parties. But as you know, as 99,9% of the victims are brain washed and not willing to spend anything to enforce their claim, nothing happened.
