Das ist doch mal ein guter use case für byteball. Man kann gleichzeitig was nütliches mit seiner freien Rechenleistung für die Wissenschaft und die Menschheit machen und bekommt auch noch ein paar bytes als Aufwandsentschädigung. Echt gute Idee!

Jetzt hat der XEON im Homeserver endlich mal was zu tun... Ich muss sagen, die WCG Anwendung reagiert sehr zuverlässig. Wenn die CPU was anderes zu tun hat, schalten sich die WCG Tasks sofort ab. Da der Rechner sowieso 24h läuft, ist es nur der etwas erhöhte Stromverbrauch welcher sich bemerkbar macht. Aber auch das seh ich als vernachlässigbar, da es zum einen für eine gute Sache ist und zum anderen Byteball noch jede Menge Potential hat und ich fest dran glaube das wir das ATH in absehbarer Zeit wieder sehen werden.

habe hier ein neu aufgesetztes Ubuntu 18.04. und bekomme beim starten der Byteball-Wallet folgende Fehlermeldung:

./Byteball: error while loading shared libraries: libgconf-2.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Woran kann es liegen?

edit: Problem hat sich erledigt, es musste nur das Paket "libgconf-2-4" nachinstalliert werden, nun läuft die Wallet :-)

Ich glaube... die NBT die wir bekommen habe, kommen eigentlich vom Email drop Timeline 28.04, und ab dem 08.05 wird in Abhängigkeit deiner NBT gedroppt, und zwar über ein Jahr alle 24h, sodass Du nach diesen 365 Tage 400% deiner jetzigen NBT hast. Also hast Du beim Emaildrop 10k bekommen, hast nach der Aktion 40k, so meine Theorie

Danke für den Link, habe gleich mal geordert, ich fand damals das Monopoly Online (war irgendwie mit googlemaps oder so...) genial, leider wurde es als bald durch Betrug uninteressant. Aber so meine eigene Straße hätte ich schon gerne

Na, das klingt doch gut. Ist ja quasi der Inbegriff von Gratisgeld. Man schaut auf sein Konto und plötzlich ist mehr da als vorher Mal sehen ob einem das der nette Finanzbeamte von Nebenan glaubt: "ein Unbekannter hat ihnen einfach so Geld geschenkt Das passt nicht in meine Weltbild"

Hast Du schon mal deine Byteball wallet aufgemacht? Ich hatte nämlich auch nicht aktiv an einer Email Aktion teilgenommen, meine NBT waren einfach da...
Falls nicht, glaube ich kaum, dass Du da noch nachträglich was machen kannst, außer ggf. am ICO teilzunehmen.
