They collected more than $ 3 Million USD. Pretty big, not? Why has this not been discussed in this forum or elsewhere but yet got so much money? Did anyone invest? Can people still invest? Anyone who invested can share experiences? Happy with the outcome?

It would not be surprising if they mismanaged the funds. They are not professional fund managers nor are they working behind an investment bank. Investing in something like that should be avoided because they are subject to SEC regulations. For now the SEC is not doing anything but that does not mean they won't in the future. They will make a good example of someone just like Ross Ulbricht in showing that the US government should not be messed with.

max keiser is UK based not US. the business is registered in the UK and run via a shell company in the caymens
so the SEC wont do much

secondly they seem to be still running.
in the blog of BnkToTheFuture.com(the payment gateway of bitcoincapital) they are still advertising and taking on new contracts.
yep even bitfinex last month went to them http://blog.bnktothefuture.com/

max and his business partner were advertising the topic of bnktothefuture and bitcoincapital https://youtu.be/AClxy0B1Avk

so it seems still active. though i personally have stayed via them very far away from investing with them for many reasons

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
Please do your own research & respect what is written here as both opinion & information gleaned from experience. many people replying with insults but no on-topic content substance, automatically are 'facepalmed' and yawned at

With so much capital gathered, I am surprised these communities are so divided! You guys here seem to stay away from them, and I understand why. I would not put much money into these guys either. But still I cannot stop but wonder why no one from around here invested. Where are the investor of bitcoin capital and why is no one either celebrating or whining about their investment.

Why should one invest in such things?
If Bitcoin should make the breakthrough it will be enough when you own bitcoins!
This is already like owning shares/parts of the internet as analogy to the early ninetees.
Bitcoin the network, the protocol will gain in value when infrastructure and the crypto economy in general is growing.
Hence Bitcoin is all I need to have invested in.That's more than enough risk you take here imo.

I would completely avoid bitcoin capital and banktothefuture.com   Their CEO posted optimistically of linking us to "the hottest new deals in crypto" and the warning was "high risk high return" but  in the years since the funding rounds closed the record changed...the CEO now says "most will fail"..which frankly he never said when he made the pitch. He only said "high risk high return"..and the illiquid shares were mentioned only as follows.."may result in illiquidity". He went from bullish to extremely bearish and of course he took I think a 5% cut up front so he made his money first..he doesn't have to worry if it is all dog shit. He got 5% up front and is still doing the rounds of bitcoin media and respected..despite being 1 of the  enablers  of a huge startjoin, startcoin venture by allowing its pitches on his bnktothefuture (and many feel a ponzi scam was what startjoin was). My advice is do not invest in bnktothe future as many are now 2 1/2 years on from the day they handed over 5 or 6 bitcoins and I am sure very sorry they did

All of these links are now dead.

http://www.bitcoincapital.io/ no longer exists. And the bnktothefuture.com links don't show the original pitch anymore.

What's the status?
