Bitcoin is still a new tech, it was introduced less than a decade ago. Financial tech seems to be very orthodox branch of economy.

Banks are using transfer methods and accounting invented couple dozens years ago. Meanwhile blockchain based platforms are still evolving.

It takes years, sometimes even decades to introduce&implement new revolutionary system like bitcoin.

Bitcoin is far away from become an industry standard, especially in banking because huge power shift won't happen overnight.

Bitcoin will be more expensive because:

1. As it becomes more popular and demand increases which is equal to increase in value.
2. Bitcoin is finite, there won't be ever more than 21 millions of bitcoin.
3. Every lost bitcoin is beneficial and will make other coins worth slightly more.
4. Bitcoin is still in its infancy state and yet it is accepted in hundred of services around the world. To name a few: Steam, Dell, Dish Network, Expedia, NewEgg, Microsoft, Overstock.
Imagine when every online shop will start accepting it in the future - huge demand - huge price increase.

But again, no one is forcing you to invest in bitcoin. It is not some Ponzi scheme, where owner 'guarantees' that you will be rich. There is no such guarantee with Bitcoin.

no not really. even if the level of usage stays the same in the future. bitcoin will "survive" even with the current price. because there is enough investors and also there is enough usefulness for it still.

but apart from all that, as it was also said before, bitcoin is still a new technology and as everything else it takes time to get adopted and grow to a level that price also rises with the mass adoption.

there isn't something as "definitely" getting profits. even not with bitcoin. if it really was that easy, then everyone would put their money into bitcoin and sit back looking at the profits they are making. you are either trading to make profits, or buying coins at lower levels to sell them later on at higher levels. everything you do has a certain risk involved.

i think halving is too far and we are not going to look or predict the price in behalf of halving, but as it was expected before the bitfinex issue that he price will reach to a good high price but after bitfinex hacking issue the price fell down and trade below 600$ for a long time so now as the market is going to recover its position so its expected that the price of bitcoin will again raise to high level therefore i think it is good time to invest bitcoin right now.

Investing before halving would be  good since as we observe price increases drastically which could really  give us   decent profits. If you  do short trades and  love to see profits then its  still advisable to buy bitcoin as  of  the moment because    the price is going down. Debit/Credit money is not exactly cashless. It is based on the same framework as paper money is. It is the same system called FIAT money.
Bitcoin is something else, it is transparent and finite monetary system. Of course it will be only more expensive over time - unlike every standard FIAT.

If you are taking positions for the long term, I think the price is still at very reasonable levels. Sooner or later, we are going to see another significant movement. What direction it takes is anybody's guess. But at these levels, I would not hesitate buying some if I have the budget. We might the price rise and fall a little in the short term, but the long term pattern of continued increase is still there.

TERA, you are absolutely right, actually i am speechless, i think you are giving us perfect answer.
But about OP, i suggest the bitcoin because it is a different crypto currency from fiat, and should do investment in a different way. And if we want to do any investment or trading in online than on one is best currency from bitcoin. When we come in bitcoin than it gives us most of the other ways to make profit. Personally i think that bitcoin is a new and future technology.

The price feeling so high (no pun intended) is entirely subjective. Bitcoin is probably not really overpriced at all. It just looks expensive with respect to what had happened in the past, when its price had been sticking around $250 per coin. But in retrospect, it may turn out that you would not be in fact overpaying for it if you decided to buy bitcoins right now. It can go down a few dozen dollars, but the upside is virtually unlimited.
