Where you sell your something? i think thats why you are just receive the payment but they are chargeback i think you are just paying for fee for your transaction.. Paypal is not scam. its a big company..

Fraudulent chargebacks and arbitrary account freezing are reported by a lot of paypal users. The size of the company is irrelevant to the case. Scams can grow to huge proportions without problems if the people managing the scam are exploiting mass psychology.

If Paypal is a scam to you or not, depends on how you define a scam. In my opinion their business behavior is systematically unethical when it comes to spying on its users, arbitrarily freeze accounts with large sums on it and facilitating fraudulent chargebacks by not properly investigating the true circumstances of an alleged complaint - that all combined with charging fees to use their "service". I feel great joy of never having been their pal.

Luckily, Paypal can't compete against Bitcoin when native Bitcoin payments (without idiotic fiat conversion) become the norm...

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

PayPal got worse when they got big. Before their ultimate corporate time they weren't sucking so much.
But again: why do we have to use PayPal if there are so many alternative payment options available?
I am not even talking about cryptocurrency here. PayPal is not the the one FIAT payment system.

The best PayPal alternatives I know:

1. Amazon Payments - hands down the best service - no fees for either receiving or sending money.

2. Dwolla - you will pay 25 cents to receive money.

I have experience some disasters with paypal, when I try to transfer my $20 from paypal my bank what happened is that the money didn't succesfully transferred to my bank account.

And what happened they still do charged me $5 because of it and I am so pissed that they have done unsuccessful transaction and still do charge me.

But I complained and they helped me and give back that money.

You are right buddy. PayPal might not be a scam as I put it but the fact that they are allowing scammers to go scot-free is what concerns me. Their policy of chargebacks is what is hurting most. You a genuine business but someone fraudulently disputes the transaction and the money is reversed, and the idiot has your goods.

I've thought about this before, what if they gave users control over the chargeback feature? Say you're a newcomer and you're buying from a reputable seller, the guy might not want to deal with you because you could charge back as soon as you receive the item right? What if you could disable chargeback for that particular transaction? You would just need to check some box that you understand that you're taking full responsibility for the transaction. And that if for any reason you don't receive the item you agree to forfeit your money. Of course the seller would be aware that chargeback had been disabled that you're prepared to take all the risk.

Paypal is simply a service that you use on the Internet. They are helping you send money to anyone you would like, and they thought having a 'dispute' feature would have a good effect. From a legit buyer POV, yes that's good because when the sender fails to deliver the product or deliver it with problems, then the buyer can just dispute his payment. I think it should be obvious to all of us by now that Paypal prioritizes the buyer's protection.

On the legit seller's POV, he will have to make sure that the buyer wouldn't dispute the payment in 180 days. Otherwise, he'll lose some money.

Nevertheless, Paypal is just doing their job. It's in their thinking that the Buyer should be put first, but that doesn't make Paypal a scam.

I guess paypal always give a reason if they freeze your funds, just call them on working days so you will get an answer for your problem sometimes they are just need clarification.

I also had an issue with PayPal because of charge back. They later realized that the person was a scammer because they later reversed the funds back to my account.

PayPal is no scam, a lot of people are using it and its working very good, I also use it sometimes and never had any problems.
The fact is indeed that they even have a charge back system so I do not think its scam at all, they are way too big.

I have had an issue with Paypal and while I was trying to look for a solution on the internet, I came across this website (https://www.consumeraffairs.com/online/paypal_02.html) where everybody is complaining about Paypal. Most of the complains were actually similar to the one that I have. I thought Paypal is a credible company but now I have started feeling worried about my funds stuck in the accounts.

If you paid somebody with bitcoins upfront, and he didn't live up to his promises (whatever they might be), would you call Bitcoin a scam too? I've seen a lot of large online resellers (for example, iHerb.com) accepting payments through Paypal, and I had ordered from them a lot in the past. I didn't have a single issue delivery-wise (fingers crossed), thus there was no reason for me to request a chargeback. I hope your issue gets resolved soon, though.

Lol paypal now is high secured payment method in the whole world but if you didn't follow the rules and the condition and the agreement your account would probably banned or it will be frozen the funds up 180 days or more depends on the reason paypal is a legit one and it won't turn into scam ever.

Paypal is not a scam but I can understand why you feel like that though. They are very customer unfriendly and freeze your funds or no apparant reason just to try and get your money out of your hands. They are friendly until they have your cash.

Paypal is better than most Credit cards too. For credit cards, they are cheaper than most POS services, even for big business.  I have seen it lately, but the way that they integrated with eBay a few years back was awesome.

Paypal is not a scam but I can understand why you feel like that though. They are very customer unfriendly and freeze your funds or no apparant reason just to try and get your money out of your hands. They are friendly until they have your cash.

Nope buddy,  I think you haven't noticed the many scam call or email from the paypal. As you said paypal is not user friendly when we compare with bitcoin. It is the best mode of money transfer around the world.
