Yeah it really depends on the individual. Someone might have a negative experience using them, others seems have a good experience using paypal. Personally, I don't have one so I don't think they are scam. Maybe paypal are just too strict in their implementation of its services that's why people are seeing them as scam.

I don't think that PayPal is a scam. Just because there are cases that caused you discomfort, doesn't mean that they are doing nothing about it. (I'm not here to side with PayPal) It's just that I have used PayPal with no problems at all, and I think it's credible because they have been operating for a long time and they want to maintain it that way.

The opinion varies from person to person. Those who do not have any bad experience with paypal and do not want to change to bitcoins will always favor paypal and will never switch to bitcoins.

If your opinion is stick to Paypal then you making bitcoin here in the forum. Then I think you have not heard about Paypal email scams or direct scams. Don't stuck with the Paypal which consumes higher fees than bitcoin. Bitcoin high potential than paypal and it will be act as payment and payment mode as well.

Some people have had a pretty good experience using the escrow service Escrow My Bits, but the chance of them being selective scammers can be rounded up to 100%.

PayPal aren't just strict, they freeze people's accounts with little notice.  No financial service should be allowed to withhold their users' own money - the only reason PayPal can get away with it is by regarding it as their money after the user has given it to them.

I had paypal and it never failed to do any transaction, i had heard there are many people said that paypal froze their account without any notice, I think there always are reason why paypal did that and paypal is a big company and very trusted to do million dollar of transaction every year, so I dont believe paypal is a scammed

Paypal is an excellent payment system. It has been working for many years. But Paypal very rigidly watches that people do not use it in illegal schemes. Often people themselves are to blame for the fact that their account is blocked

yes i think different people have different experience about paypal.  for some people people paypal is good as they are getting good service from paypal, while according to some people paypal is not providing such a good service or in some area even their service is not available, therefore people there do not consider papal as good. as in my areas the service of paypal is not available and therefore i cannot say anything about paypal. either their service is good or bad.

Any amount can be blocked/frozen for whatever reason. Thing with larger amounts is that they may raise a certain form of suspicion, in which PayPal will force you to submit proof of source in order to unluck the funds. In most cases things get sorted pretty quickly, but there are examples of things taking weeks to get solved. Especially in case PayPal deems your proof insufficient. But it's all in their TOS. If you make use of their service, you directly agree to all their terms, and thus these actions should be expected in one way or another. It may be annoying, but there is no point in complaining. You signed up there.

Paypal is not scam i use it long time aho without having any issue about it, i think many people saying paypal scam because of the all paypal users that using paypal to scam people like chargeback they will deal in others or they will exchanges their paypal in other currency then chargeback a couple of minutes ago

I dont have any problem on it the only problem i encountered was nit using it for a long time then my password doesnt match so i have a long time trouble chamging the password then it keep saying invalid password even my password is already okay.

I don't have paypal, i only have bitcoin but if you want to ask me if paypal is scam then i would probably say no because if it is a scam then there will no people using it as their online wallet for their money to do transaction, paypal is not scam and there is no news in the television that says that it is a scam.

Paypal is not scam they are trusted company if you use it properly without break their rules, sometimes some people use it for illegal activities and they got caught by paypal and this scammers will accussed back that paypal is a scam smart people would know who is they real scammer, well but dont forget too that paypal is just one of many internet services that may have a bug or human error

PayPal has had succeed for reasons, because it was anew ide and people needed a way to sue their money on the internet and they saw a future in it so they supported it and it became popular, but over the years it became old fashion and the world developed and new things appeared  and people have new priorities.

I think bitcoin is a new idea and it will be the same, so PayPal is not that much of a scam when you think of it but it is more has changed on what it used to be, and I hope that it does not happen to bitcoin as well.

Those people who said paypal is scam doesn't know the rules or they didn't obey the rules so they are keep telling that paypal is a scam because their account might be freeze by the company and they didn't get their money back. In terms of any company that offering a service like paypal, i don't think that they are scam because if they are scam then no one will trust their company and they will not have a user at least.
