Yeah terms of service is a must that every user should be aware of, before making use of the service rendered by PayPal. There are users who have lost big amount even after following the process that's been designed by the team. For this we cannot say it a scam as one in thousand or lakh gets such issue which are mostly solved.

I have had an issue with Paypal and while I was trying to look for a solution on the internet, I came across this website (https://www.consumeraffairs.com/online/paypal_02.html) where everybody is complaining about Paypal. Most of the complains were actually similar to the one that I have. I thought Paypal is a credible company but now I have started feeling worried about my funds stuck in the accounts.

I usually laugh on people when they say, "I thought Paypal was credible company but it limited me." which would rather be read as "I was not expecting Paypal to be such watchy and when I was trying to fool it, it limited me."
In 10 out of 10 cases, the mistake is on user end. Paypal is a financial company and it has to be very up-to-mark with its ToS and policy.

While paypal is a company owned by ebay it did however become a big payment processor beyond the owners expectations, it has really helped many people to not get scammed but the same time it has helped scammers as well.
I play an online multi player game that you can buy in game goods with paypal now there are actually many people buying $200 items every week and after 4 weeks when they distributed all the goods in the game between dozens of other players and making it impossible to track them properly then they contact paypal and request a charge back and the admins of the game can only ban that player but doesn't matter since they've caused the harm and practically stole $800 in a month.

I think that is the right reason there somehow they didnt realize it because the only thing they think is to blame paypal for the restrictions that they'd encounter .So the case is all a mans fault they limiting theirselves and when they caught of faking any identity even they have a balance on it .It is written before they register on the site so they must comply with the rules and agreement .

You are right most of peoples creating fake accounts and as they want verification then fail to provide any solid proof about this so company block account and freeze funds after this they wake up and cry scam its just simple if you are doing cheat then you have to pay for this also if you are following rules then no matter of worry

i think paypal is not actually scam, because im already using paypal 4 years. but sometimes if your account have a suspicious activity and paypal can hold ur money, if u want to get back ur money u just send email to costumer service paypal and give them explanation.

Isn't you did some violation regarding to their rules and policy. Because if Paypal is really scam,  despite of others giving their complaints ti should be Paypap is already close. But still paypal exist at stand in this industry.

but i think if they have some problems so for that we cannot consider paypal a scam because we can see that people are using paypal for such long long time and i think a scam system cannot continue for such a long time and we can see that paypal  is present for a long long time. but i think now the trend of the people is changing, now they are giving more preference to bitcoin as bitcoin is universal currency and is present throughout the world.

Totally agree. There is no scam company that has a very strong security. It is just by many scammer because of it's reversible feature that's why the blame was redirecting to the paypal itself. But if you are a real user of paypal. You will know that this is the most safe mode of payment for buying goods online unlike bitcoin which is irreversible. I use paypal for a year and i never encounter such hassle.

It is really good to follow the terms and service of all the organisations but PayPal terms states that there is something called seller protection, but even though i provided all the proofs and receipts the buyer still won the dispute. PayPal totally follow that 'consumers are king'

But paypal is legit companie if you have been scammed with their policy that protectes the buyer, its another question, but they are in the market and top payment processor using fiat.

There is nothing wrong to have a verification about the person identity, because it's been functioning as a cross border transaction provider with tieup with several corporate firms around the world. Its an legalized service provider, which can never go scamming the users. It needs reputation to be successful and long running.
