Of course yes, every currencies can be used for illegal activities and it is depend on people who has it, include bitcoin can be used for good or illegal activities but doesn't mean we can blaming bitcoin or USD, but we can make send the people who use bitcoin or USD for illegal activities.

Not only USD, any currencies can be use and being used in illegal activities, it does not depend on the currency but on the user itself. If a certain user involved in illegal operation then that means they are using the money for illegal activities.

Not just USD but every currency is used for illegal activities and no one can do anything with that even the government i guess, because criminals don't do it in a way that they can be traced or let anyone get suspicious about the transactions or other things, even btc is used for such things i guess that is the reason why a lot of people are having their hands out of it.

Of course yes, USD is also being used for illegal activities. Same as bitcoin, but US Dollar is more big. I mean, the amount of money for illegal activites is really big amount of money than on bitcoin.

I think the answer is yes, terrorist and smuggler prefer USD because it can be used in most of the country and the money exchanger always accept USD, and of course government cant ban fiat money, because it can disrupt their economic condition, the best things that governemnt can do is tighten up the security and freeze the account that being used for illegal action

Of course that is used for illegal activities, like any other currency in the world. People use US dollars to pay for drugs, weapons, child pornography pictures, for money laundering on Kayman Islands. And it's currency that is accepted almost everywhere on the world, so the abuse is even bigger.

USD is universal currency. And no USD will not be hurt in the long run since they are already in the "long run" status if you know what I mean here.

Anything or any form of currency can be used for both legal and illegal activities. So yes USD is also being used for illegal activities and it is almost impossible to stop all illegal activities so banning the currency will not be good way to reduce the currency related crimes. Same goes for bitcoin, stopping or banning bitcoin will not reduce the criminal activity associated or thought to be associated with bitcoin.

 I agree as long as there is money involved and with value related to a transaction. It can really be used for different types of activities just like legal and illegal ones. Yes and it have been used since when? Different presidentshave come and go and yet this sickness have not been cured. If the government is also the one providing for the illegal activities then hell it wont stop.

Anything that can be used as payment option can be used for illegal activities whether it's fiat currency like USD, EUR, CAD, CHF or any other currency or digital currency like bitcoin. Almost every currency is being used for illegal activities world wide. The benefits of using a currency is not solely dependent for what purpose it is being used. People do use USD for their transactions, they want to do. Not just because of easiness of using USD but they are using it for the need of having some currency. Same thing is applicable for bitcoin too.

People do use USD for their transactions, they want to do. Not just because of easiness of using USD but they are using it for the need of having some currency. Same thing is applicable for bitcoin too.

USD is if I am not wrong the currency that is most used in criminal activities. Even criminals in europe and asia use the dollar in their criminal activities. F.e. if they sell drugs item they want payment in USD. There is no currency in the world which has so many transaction with the US dollar.
