Live results here:

https://www.wahlen-berlin.de/wahlen/be2016/afspraes/zweitstimmen_gemeinde-1-berlin_gesamt.html

The AfD is unlikely to cross the 20% mark, as they were able to achieve in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Sachsen-Anhalt. But even a 13% or 14% share of the votes will be historic, as the party is stronger in rural areas compared to the more metropolitan regions.

And Berlin elections can be a final nail in the coffin for die führerin Angela Merkel.

I just cannot understand why any German would vote for Merkel considering what she has done to the country.

First exit polls:

Counting is about to start. First results will be out in approx. 10 mins time.

Edit: Things not looking good for Merkel. 740 out of 2,432 booths counted. AfD at 15.6%, and CDU at 16.7% (-6.7%).

generations of marxist indoctrination and nobody to put the other side, they have put literally thousands of people in prison for thoughtcrime

Be radical, have principles, be absolute, be that which the bourgeoisie calls an extremist: give yourself without counting or calculating, don't accept what they call ‘the reality of life' and act in such a way that you won't be accepted by that kind of ‘life', never abandon the principle of struggle.

Final results:

The exit polls were predicting 11.5% to 11.8% vote for AfD, but they did much better. According to the final count, they got 14.2% of the vote. Merkel's party (CDU) suffered a sharp drop in support, and performed even worse than expected. Still, the CDU narrowly kept the 2nd position, after finishing marginally ahead of the Greens and the (ex-communist) Left Party.
