Don't know if this is the right place to ask this question, but why don't I see  an android wallet for any of the cryptonote coins? is it difficult to create or the technology does not lend it self to be able to do that.

I don't know what cryptonote is but if it is an altcoin, having an android wallet depends on the developer. If he wants to create one then he will find a way to make one. Well it still depends on the number of people who will use it. If it is not a known coin, most people will not need an android wallet thus the devs will not make one.

Monero is based on CryptoNote; however over the last two years the Monero code base has diverged materially from the CryptoNote reference code base.

This should provide an overview of the changes that have happened and / or are planned for Monero https://getmonero.org/design-goals/

Concerned that blockchain bloat will lead to centralization? Storing less than 4 GB of data once required the budget of a superpower and a warehouse full of punched cards. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/IBM_card_storage.NARA.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punched_card

It still don't have a mobile wallet I have looked at a lot of coins they seem to be the most stable and I like how the technology works. I need one with a mobile wallet that is stable or at least look stable.

I don't know if SPV is possible for cryptonote.
If it's not, the android wallet has to rely on a 3rd party node/daemon, which for some is an issue.
I know that some have made Monero wallets that can work with 3rd party daemon. Such approach could work for Android too (but afaik nobody has done that yet).

Not all coins have android wallets. But since most are generally open source, the community can build blockchain related accessories for coins they see utility in.

Is your coin a fork of monero or simply a coin based on the cryptonote technology? If the source code of a coin is not open,  then it's a might be a scam or may be a shitcoin.
Bytecoin is based on the cryptonote technology and it has a android wallet of its own I guess.

monerujo seems to be an alternative to the Monero core wallet and it has an android version too. But trusting a third party wallet for storing your coins should only be at your sole discretion. Hence, it would be better to stick with the core wallet to store your coins.

May be it because having an android wallet is not part of the developers of cryptonote road map may be the are comfortable and OK with their present wallet which is desktop base. Having an android wallet will further enhance the flexibility of the project and make it more user friendly. May be with time cryptonote will develope an android base wallet.

You must be refering to Crypto Night. Rather than a technology, is a mining algorithm that is effectively used by Monero and it cheap clone Electróneum. The main good thing about it is that it can be mined with processors and GPUs.

However, as far as I know, there is not a generic wallet as that is completely different from the mining algo.
