I find the idea of a worldwide supercomputer to apply computer power in projects like video rendering, protein folding and whatnot, a really idea, but im not sure about it working under the Ethereum blockchain.

Also wasn't this concept tried before with Gridcoin or this is something else?

Im still trying to decide if this is only nice words (a scam) or a serious project worth investing at.

Sounds similar to XAI Sapience which was a complete joke, it is a nice idea in theory but in the altcoin world chances are it is not going to happen.

I have not checked out Golem and maybe they are legit, I will check it out now and see what they are offering.

Just had a brief look at it and it does appear to have some substance, I will keep an eye on this for when the ICO opens, might be worth a shot.

i don't like ico, it does not matter if they are legit or not, it's always involvea dead coin in the end, the ethereum was the only exception, because it was the first real good project after a long run of bad project

Seem promising but many high promising coins have failed to deliver what they promised and only remain in existaince as theory.  Main problem with ICO coins is the devs/teams getting lazy after end of ICO period and they will keep promising to release something big but keep on postponing them. Take lisk for example...

XEL is attempting this as well. In testing mode already:

By the way, I know it is besides the point, but I just have to point it out: I love the design of the website. Those brownish floating spheres… Great. I'd buy it just for that Grin (Nah, not really)

So anyone can tell me more about this? From what I've researched the idea is great, but im not sure if it will work. There is an ICO going on, I think it's a phase 2 ICO.

Anyone owns some tokens?
