When I go to add bitcoins to my account at MtGox, it is supposed to provide a wallet number to transfer to.  But the page just refreshes for me when I click the button, with no address showing up.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

It's a popup

Yeah, I turn pop-up blocker off, and even hold down ctrl-shift.  No difference, and nothing pops up.

Tell us all what browser you're using, and what version. It might help.

I logged it with info@mtgox.com, and they created a support ticket.  But I haven't heard back since.  That was about 20 hours ago.

I am just running standard IE 8, latest upgrades.

Well I tried it on my friend's Firefox, and it works, so it is a problem with my browser.

How can we trust MtGox? I feel like they could manipulate the market...

It's in their best interests to keep a good reputation (transaction fees)
