Quite simply, the deposit conditions were known in advance.
Really I do not think they are fair. Angry
Dude, I feel there are a bit messy, inChain ICO put the money to the custody of the SebastianJu SebastianJu, but so far has not appeared, should, I did not see a refund of investors received replies in the forum. Ichain should not have any information about the refund at present. The key point is that not everyone will come to bitcointalk to see the message, there are many Inchain investors do not know the refund process, I think Inchain should send a detailed process refunds on the official website or twitter or Facebook, it does not need to spend too much time, but the Inchain team is say all according to the process, did not say that the process steps in detail

Some of the problem they are encountering right now is the investors who sent from the exchange which they have no control of the private key and SebastianJu is asking for a signed message to prove that they own the address used for investment.

i do not understand what is private key or who is SebastianJu. i do not understand all that things.

i put money on ICO. support ignore me. on forum they do not appear. they do not take money back. looks like my money stolen.

if some body know how to get money back pls just give link to step by step tutorial. else if give me pls link to man who responsible for that or any representative of this project to put my feed backs on them. is any kind system on this forum how to put personal feed backs.

already tired to spend my attention on them.

with such relation to the potential clients all who made this idea need to pay by their reputation if they still do not.

Friends, not emotional, I think you and I like this there are many investors waiting for a refund, if the Inchain team keep quiet, you have to SebastianJu forum to explain the refund issue, I want to stand up and say a Inchain team

I got a reply from SebastianJU, saying my claim was valid and I would get the money when Inchain approves the transfers.

Last I checked they were not transfered.

I have got a claim confirmation from SebastianJU, too, after sending him my PM, signed according to his instructions.
Waiting for refund.
The instructions are here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1623519.msg16980778#msg16980778
Additional helpful information on signing the message is here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345
Really, it's not that hard to do.

I don't understand what do you mean by approval of Inchain. He knows Inchain hasn't reached threshold and refund is to be processed.
Escrow now doesn't need any approval to safely return the funds to the investors.
If escrow would take approval from Inchain, while purpose of escrow is destroyed.

Did you use step 1 or 2 or did you send it from Exchange? Because I still do not know exactly what to do if I did not follow those two steps (now is too late).

Step 1. I signed a message using my deposit address.

If you sent from an exchange, all you can do is to contact the excrow and wait.
I am guessing they will wait to see, if there are multiple claims to the same deposit, which is causing the delay for the people that sent from exchanges.

Dont know why the rest of the refunds are so slow.

As a general rule, you should always use an address where you control your private key when investing.
It will save you a lot of trouble in the long run.

I really liked this project, and feel that there is a place for this to be implemented to our daily blockchain lives. However, this might have been too soon, or just not marketed enough.

Keep at it guys, and I hope you'll come back at a later stage even stronger and perhaps you have learnt from some mistakes as well.

Wish you all the best Inchain team!

He means that he has to pay escrow fees. More specifically, atleast 0.01 Bitcoin are deducted from your refund in name of escrow fees.
For further details, read the escrow rules for complete fee structure.

So, the whole ICO costed around 30-50 Bitcoin to its users. (Just an estimate).

Many of investors were not aware of this as they didn't read escrow rules investing.

Dear Inchain Investors,

I am the third party escrow responsible for the Inchain ICO. Unfortunately, the minimum amount wasn't reached, and your ETHs will be returned to you.

The terms for the refund are as follows:
- Refund amount calculated as value sent to the escrow contract minus an escrow fee.
- Escrow fee flat at 1.5% of value deposited.
- Up to $30 discount on escrow fee per investor(unique email), if participating in a survey.

The estimated schedule is:
- Send out emails to verify refund addresses of all ETH investors till Friday, Dec 2nd, 2016.
- Invites to survey till Friday, Dec 2nd, 2016.
- Deploy, document, and open refund contract latest Friday, Dec 9th, 2016.
- Close refund contract, withdraw escrow fees at 1PM CET, Friday, Dec 23rd, 2016.

Cheers,

Johann

Ethereum escrow fees is much less than that of Bitcoin.
I like the refund process for Ethereum. It is well planned.

Do Ethereum investors need to send you pm for verification process? (As in Bitcoin refund process)

Bitcoin escrow said that escrow don't take information about refund addresses from the ico company. They take information from Inchain, the whole purpose of escrow is destroyed .
So, how would you manage email addresses?

Angry   We translators won't be paid in this coin, either bitcoin.  But still good luck, because I have another big stash, I don't care about so little translation fee.
