Although the odds is low about that revealing thing, let's put the situation there.

Likely, I see that nothing will change in the whole bitcoin ecosystem just because of that "except" how will the people in charge will respond to that situation. If they took that as a negative thing and began to think how to erase the whole blockchain then that is a problem. But of course there are contradicts that also part of that people in charge so rather erasing, they will took the advantage of it.

I do not see any negative side because of Satoshi's come back, but more chances for growth instead of debating for 1 MB block size, quick decisions/solutions would be  possible.
 
I am not aware of how Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg are managing their personal/official emails, but Satoshi might face the problem of getting his inboxes flooded with donation requests.

In my own opinion if satoshi  would be caught or   voluntarily surrendered to  authorities then  it would surely impact the reputation of bitcoin all over the world since it would be a big news and everyone would  know regarding on his invention either it would give positive  or negative impact on  bitcoins image into the  people  all over the world.  About the  price i would assume that it wont  somehow  affect it because  bitcoin is  decentralized.

why is everybody so obsessed over who satoshi is, satoshi decided one day to hide his identity and stay hidden (anonymous) and that will continue to be this way.

and even if someday that happens and the identity of satoshi is revealed then satoshi will only be another developer who is contributing. this is a decentralized money after all.

Don't think it would really have an effect on bitcoin unless he started doing seminars or something of that sort. The scenario I think of if Satoshi was to reveal himself would be trolls and extreme fanboys annoying him back into hiding. It would be nice for AMA and informational purposes if he chose to do that along with revealing his identity. I think he keeps under the radar for a good reason (publicity) and diverting back and showing who he is completely defeats that purpose. We may just have to wait a few years...

I dont see any reason why the government will want to put satoshi to jail, he didnt do anything wrong in fact he created something that help a lot of people, the government should thank him, and if satoshi being revealed maybe the bitcoin reputation will be increase and more developer will looking to cooperate with him

I think there would be no effect.  People would just be happy knowing who really is Satoshi is but I do not know if there would be any effect or it will affect bitcoin.  Maybe people who were into bitcoin will be happy to finally know who he is and the mystery behind it will put to an end.

No one knows the effect of this especially in the long run but I am sure that the first days after satoshi decides to reveal his id everyone will start panic selling and Bitcoin will lose more than 50% of its value.But I doubt that we will ever learn who satoshi really is cause he knows better than anyone that this will hurt Bitcoin and himself,it will remain a well-kept secret for many years.

I can't predict what will happen to bitcoin once Satoshi reveals himself. but I don't think the government will put him in jail because bitcoin is not a criminal at all, it just depends on how people use it. and I think bitcoin will be the same as usual.

I'm not sure it would be a good thing for Bitcoin if someone proved beyond doubt that he/she is Satoshi. The Bitcoin world revolves as Satoshi's work and if Satoshi is the center then identifying who he/she is would unavoidably lead to a centralization of sorts. Right now he is a myth, an invisible/intangible center nobody can influence/corrupt/coerce.

i don't have any idea if this is really happen. because what is the point is real Satoshi reveals himself? did he wants to make something new with bitcoin projects? maybe market will be get strong for the rate and increase the rate, but there are no big effects for bitcoiners.

governments will make an approach with real Satoshi and make discussion with him and from that conversion, government can make decision about legal of bitcoin.

i think it Will never happened because satoshi himself can control the flow of btc so there may ne a chance that government can force at satoshi to make some control at btc so that they can apply some tax by government at bitcoin wallet btc .

We don't know about the nationality of Satoshi. He may be Japanese, but there is definitely no surety about it. IMO, Satoshi is probably a white male. There were very few Bitcoiners from Japan during the early days (i.e in 2009). That said, we don't even know whether Satoshi Nakamoto is a single individual, or a group of individuals.

If Satoshi reveal himself, I think it might make positive impact or negative impact to bitcoin.
The positive impact is bitcoin price might rise up because of this. And the negative impact is people will be cautious with bitcoin because people might think satoshi will dump his bitcoin and make the market crash.
