I have a drop ship business selling bedding in the US and Canada with two suppliers.

Orders are a case of forwarding an email to the supplier, they invoice you, you keep the profit.

Ive owned the business since ~2005, and it originated in ~2001.

At points the business has had a turnover or 100k$ a year, but has been neglected due to lack of interest on my behalf, so sales at this point are minimal and it is the wrong season right now (autumn being the best).

I think the best turnover I personally achieved was ~6000$ a month avg, the above mentioned 100k+ was prior to my purchase.

Anyway, Ive totally lost all interest in it, turnover for the past 12 months has been around 12.5k with around 5k of that being profit.

I havent invested any time or money in the business for a long long time (maybe 6 years), but Im sure it could be brought back to life in the right hands.

The business also includes a premium .co.uk domain that cost 3kGBP

If you have any interest in acquiring a small business for yourself or a family member this is simple to run, and just needs some TLC to generate a great little income.

Please pm me should you want more information, Im happy to disclose stats for seriously interested parties.

Thanks

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

Several questions:

What is the reserve price?
Are you accepting BTC? Have all your stated sales originated from your site or other sites?
Do you sell on other sites (eBay, amazon...)?
Does your drop shipper specialize in quilts?
What kind of volume does the drop shipper do?
Approx. how many other sites sell the exact same product?
 Is the order forwarding automated?
Exactly what processes are not automated?
Who handles the returns?
Who pays for defective product?
Who pays the shipping costs of returned product?

also please pm the income/expenses and any other info

Hi,

- Reserve over 5k$ but not much.
- Will accept BTC in whole, would probably want to take a weekly average btc/$ value (prior 7 days to date of sale).
- No selling/advertising other than organic on google.
- Both suppliers specialise in quilts and related products made with the same materials.
- Unsure about overall dropshipper volume - One supplier is much larger and more popular than the other.
- Must be at least 20 suppliers with the same products, this is a estimate
- Order forwarding is manual - one supplier accepts simple email forwards, other (main) requires formatted orders).
- Orders are not automated, in stock/ out of stock isnt automated.
- Returns are instructed to the customer, which are then handled by the supplier, returns are minimal, high satisfaction rate, very low chargeback (never had one).
- Defective is handled by the suppliers, all communication handled by us.
- Shipping and re-stock incurs a fee (15% I think) - also very very rare.

Income can be seen on flippa (attached docs right nav)

No expenses other than hosting.

Strong opp for someone with SEO skills, time and energy (very unmotivated owner here!)

Peak turnover for my minimal efforts approx 6k$ a month.

Peak sales - prior to my ownership ~150k$ a year also included additional product line of braided rugs.

Please pm if I can give anymore in depth info, got a few interested parties so been writing a lot of mails today!

Cheers

PS summer is a slow time for quilt sales, this give the new owner a few months to boost seo, get to grips with the products prior to autumn rush.

All traffic is organic, analytics should be attached to the flippa ad (right nav)

Cheers

What are your margins?
Is there a minimum price you can sell your products for (or minimum advertised)? I see alot of other sellers converging on one price.
Is it possible to get around the min price with the old "add to cart to see our crazy low price"?
What type of training are you willing to offer?

Main supplier requires a 100$ product at $200. Secondary, smaller supplier has no min requirement.

Ways around this, bundling items (bed in a bag - offer), freebies, undercut shipping etc.

I suppose you could offer an incentive voucher, "hey heres x% off your next order"

Doubtful you could get around things with the add to cart.

Never had a problem selling, SEO has dropped though since at least 18 months, I peaked on page 1 for "quilts" and "patchwork quilts" just by having signature links on digital point forums (costs ~100$ annually), the domain has a good age and presumably decent rep, just needs TLC and fresh link juice.

Cheers

PS there are no restrictions afaik with regards to selling on ebay amazon etc

I also think theres avenues for bespoke items, think etsy etc

Who knows maybe even BTC quilts Wink

Cheers

Can offer skype training, for customer relations, example emails to suppliers eg formatting an order form, general add stock/remove stock, price modifications ... all the basics, its extremely simple, a good polite manner to customers is essential, simple brief emails to suppliers is all that is required.

SEO should be on the new owners side, all analytics as far as I can extract can be provided, any learned knowledge which may not be obvious will be supplied, ongoing support via skype is no issue (within reason!).

Im based in the UK but work late, so should be convenient for most timezones.

Please note again, that summer is very quiet, again this provides a nice opportunity to send some juice to the site, learn about the products, and establish any new suppliers and lines.

We often get emails from China, so theres nice opportunities there if thats your thing, you can sell to bricks and mortar, you can open a store etc etc Lots of possibilities.

Alt line ideas include, rugs, braided rugs, cushions, general bedding, curtains, shower curtains, natural fibre products (hemp, seagrass etc).

Cheers

You know what is funny.  I used to have a bedding drop-ship business start in 2002 in the United States.   Wow, small world.  I used to work for Pacific Coast Feather.
