Where will this settle? I'm thinking around $7 to $10 per ZEC.
I am thinking more like $2-5, but as ZEC isnt used for anything (that I know of) yet, the price could go a lower. Once its a bit more mature, ZEC could compete with the other established privacy focused currencies. |

i just trying the standalone version to mining at suprnova pool.
i want to ask, if the official zec launched in 28 oct, can i withdraw my balance to zcash wallet ?
what i mine at suprnova now ? testnet only ? or real zcash ?
Is that a sort of cloud mining? So far, I have come across only two sites related to Zcash mining... a. www.zcashminers.org - Seems like a miner development challenge. b. www.zcash-miner.com - Only saying "We are working on a server set up for large scale Zcash Mining." It's a pool.. In fact it is or was the first zcash stratum pool  https://zec.suprnova.cc Now, according to https://explorer.zcha.in/statistics [Miner Distribution], it is the biggest Zcash mining pool. Miners are losing interest based on this chart.... the price decrease a lot more then the reward increase.... ZEC we need a fork  or do you want a 1sat coin soon? Zec is not a 1 sat coin it has a great potential to rise up You have great potential to rise up too. Basically every coins says this. Let the coin find a bottom and we will see how its going to get accepted in the community |

I wouldn't be surprised if something like this happens. "Now only 21 thou coins to be mined instead of 21 mil! Best crypto evers! Roger Ver! Pump, pump, pump!" etc... I seriously doubt such a hf will come. The dispense model was specifically modeled after BTC. Yes, the price is plummeting as more coins enter the ecosystem, but a 12.5 reward/block isn't going to do shit to the price by itself. The reason the price is falling so fast is because it was crazy pumped to begin with. TLDR: Changing emission rate isn't the solution. Letting the market settle to a more realistic price is the only thing that needs to be done now. |

In any case, why do you assume that? The reason it was crazy pumped to begin with is because there were less than 10 ZEC on Polo to trade. The reason it will be crazy dumped is because there will be over a million ZEC on there eventually. Its current marketcap is around 3-4 million, so you could easily pump it 10x if there was no sell pressure from new rewards. Steem did +30 million in mcap thanks to proposing such "re-engineering". |
