What happens when a transaction has low priority?

As the title says itself, I want to know that if I send something and the left change is less than 6000 satoshis, but the fee is 0.0001 coins, will it confirm ever on low priority if the estimated time for confirmation shown is unknown?

I depends on the size of the transaction in bytes, not the amount being transacted. The transaction may confirm eventually, but it could take a long time. Estimated confirmation times are usually inaccurate.

i waited 2 days once because i forgot to add fees and my wallet was set to manually but dont worry it will comfirm someday :p

Long time but how much? Times may be inaccurate but this seems getting hard on me as I did it wrongly I think.
The size was 1109 bytes, so what do you think?

2 days would be too much and about fees, I added 0.0001 in it, so will it ever confirm? Because the change left after transaction was just 1000 satoshis.

I experience one thing about transaction before even it is low priority sometimes its just few minutes or hours.. and i think you dont need to relay in the fee  and i think its depends in the size according to post someone here.. and it you should still receive it even its low priority..

It's been 6 hours already, and as I have said this many times already, I am saying this again that the change that was left in my address finally was just 1000 satoshis, so now tell me whether it will get confirmed?

You paid a fee of ~9 satoshis/byte. According to http://bitcoinfees.21.co/, that could take anywhere from 4-91 blocks before your first confirmation.

There is no assurance if how long you can receive this transaction but if you experience it right now better to share the blockchain link so that we can check why you are experience in delay about your transaction..

Thanks a lot for your help guys, the transaction finally got confirmed and I got my funds sent to the place and became usable at other side's end.
