I just sold 893 XZC at 53000 sats. There is a 41 BTC buy wall at 52999 sats now...Zcoinofficial says that those in the slack group have some information that he hasn't shared.

Can someone please share the information?

There has been a suspected security breach of the Zcoin website and some of Poramin's accounts. Please disregard any potential updates / hard forks / other news and changes / download links that come from the Zcoin website. Also, do not pull any updates from the old "zcoinofficial" zcoin repo. As extra caution, since github commit history can be revised, here is a fork of the github repo before the suspected security breach: https://github.com/zcoinproject/zcoin

gary is also accusing poramin of committing a cybercrime relating to the zcoin domain.

Yes it looks a bit strange. Someone believes in the project enough. But there is probably a bit of emotion involved, but the dust will settle.

One Bittrex account has more than 10% of available coins now, and that same account (probably) is bidding for another 13 or 14% of available coins.

I sold most of mine on the basis that this uncertainty can't be good, and the coins is unlikely to go up.

But, why would someone want to buy so many?
M'eh... I can think of a few reasons but none of them seem good.
I might speculate in the speculation thread.
