I got my custom wallet startup time to 20secs
if anyone wants to try NON-OFFICIAL win wallet 32bit:
You seems to be desperate to distribute your binary. God knows what is inside. One more and I'm forced to give you a negative trust rating for spreading `dubious` execute file without any proof. +1 Already gave you a negative! THANKS! Alternative account of castellum that is shilling the Virus infected wallets to the unexpected, Stay Away ! A quick look from other' feedback about him and we could understand the reason. What a funny troll

Looks like an antivirus removed all last posts of "username_007" here... I personally only deleted one. He did the rest or a mod... But yeah it appears he was an alt account for Castellum that was a Zcoin clone (which is also now deleted). Exists in Google search results though.

We are pleased to release v0.1.8 of Zcoin which fixes the following issues: - Wallet loading times improved greatly. First loading time after install/reinstall will still take hours but subsequent loads will take minutes.
- Fixed compile issue for MacOS
Please head to our Releases page to download the updated binaries which are available for Windows and Mac. Linux binary will be released later today. If you wish to compile your own binary, you can do so from the Github. The reason why the initial load still takes such a long time is due to a full verification to ensure there are no Zerocoin double-spends. it's nice to see your update for this coin. I hope that the update in the future will help this zcoin grows up to attract more big investors.

I'm using zcoin wallet versionv0.1.6 so If I want to download wallet version v.1.8 for installing should I have to delete my old wallet to re-install new wallet with version V1.8 or I just only download and upgraded this wallet? Thank you.

There is a poll on going here: http://invite.zcoin.finance:3000 where you can contribute with your thought to decide about to adopt or not a GPU miner until the MTP is ready!

That is lovely coin , I have bought some coins on the bittrex exchange. All of the good information will help zcoin have stronger growth in next month. Roger Ver is big investor in the digital currency world and he has invested his money to this coin. Why we don't follow him to get more earnings from this project.

Those of you that have not checked out Amazon spot instances may want to look into them while you still have the chance. https://aws.amazon.com/ec2/spot/You can get up to a 90% discount compared to regular cpu instances if you bid correctly. This is why you see some people with up to 50-110+ times more hash power than the average Joe Since we cant beat them now, might as well look into Joining them while we still have time

You can find the info about the poll in this thread along with links to the slack channel to vote in the poll. Currently the only option is to cpu mine this coin with your local pc or Amazon cpu instances Edit: Here is a link to a cpu miner that will work with windows binaries https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1326803.0You can also find a cpu miner at https://xzc.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=gettingstarted with instructions
