it's nice to see this news but I still wonder how can we know a very big hashrate on mining pool without Asic equipment supported ?
and I still keep waiting for clear announcement before I can buy it again for long-term investment.

New release Zcoin 13.6.2 out with security/bug fixes. Please update your wallets and Znodes before block 89300 or roughly 28 May. Those on 13.6.1 with Znodes need to update too (both Znodes and desktop wallet).

Zcoin "French Drop" v0.13.6.2

Instructions

Mandatory upgrade from 13.6.1 for Znodes and mining pools and local wallets with Znodes. Failure to update may result in inconsistent Znode information/status/payouts.

Highly recommended update for exchange wallets or wallets without Znodes but not compulsory.

Before anything, backup your wallet.dat (File > Backup Wallet), ideally in a different drive.

When upgrading to this version from the 13.4 branch, it will prompt for a one time reindex (approximately 30-80 minutes). A typical 1 CPU VPS will take about 1 hour 15 minutes. If you are upgrading your Znodes, as long as upgrade is completed within 3 hours, you won't need to issue a znode start command and you won't lose your queue status.

If you are upgrading from 13.5, no reindex is required unless you are stuck on a block on which a reindex is required. Follow this guide on how to reindex.

Changelog

  • Mandatory upgrade for Znodes, mining pools and local wallets with Znodes.
  • Removes the need for local wallet to reissue Znode start_alias command after hard fork date.
  • Hard fork block 89300 Update by May 28

Version: v0.13.6.2- SHA256 Hashes:

Our team has officially announced support for ZCoin Masternodes: https://www.reddit.com/r/zcoin/comments/8eytu0/zcoin_masternode_setup_services_setup_masternodes/

This is clearly an option, and the team does not require any access to the wallet or server. It is exciting to see the progress of the ZCoin team, and where it is going with the growth of their masternode community

Great to see Zcoiners asking more questions to the telegram chat

Based on the information of the article, it seems that Zcoin team have very detailed plans for the wars against flexible ASICs.
However, it has shown the fact that algorithm developers have underestimated ASIC developers. This one is very important point.
Honestly, I hate ASICs, so I also hate such news on positive fast developments from ASIC developers.

Does F2pool pays extra on good luck or they save it for them self?
I have trouble doing calculation- numbers just don't add up, look this block explorer:

https://insight.zcoin.io/blocks-date/2018-05-19
Keep checking the dates up- to today, they get ~90 block a day(around 2500 Coins) with ~120~140 Ghs but looking it whattomine- you need over 400Ghs to get this much of coins.
https://whattomine.com/coins/175-xzc-lyra2z?utf8=%E2%9C%93&hr=400000000.0&p=300.0&fee=0.0&cost=0.1&hcost=0.0&commit=Calculate

So can you help me understand?

Hello. I see that the project is actively developing, and the community is also growing. However, you are not afraid of news that rugulators are negative about anonymous crypto-currencies? Already happened several major delists of such coins as DASH, ZEC, XMR. Is it possible to get to XZC?

Well just hope the major exchanges will delist privacy coins like Zcoin, Monero, etc... This will be only good news.

Because I asking myself who are this people who like or need to use privacy coins but they have no problems to send their personal data, ID, address, Real Name to that major exchanges to buy privacy coins. This is just schizophrenic, if you like or need privacy coins then don't use exchanges that log everything you do and asking from you who you really are. That doesn't make sense. The sooner these state controlled exchanges will stop provide privacy coins that's better for all of us because the prices will skyrocket.

But I afraid they will not do that because for them this is the only way how to control, search, look for the people who are using privacy coins.

...well in case you will get the 1000 Zcoin back, message me and we can setup the masternode for you.
Or for anyone else who like to have Zcoin masternode in very secure country.
You will get 100% profit from the masternode. We don't need money from it.

We have our own bulletproof hosting. We don't use third parties.
Everything is under our own control. And we like to have Zcoin masternode for our exchange.
But unfortunately developers are not interested and that's why right now we only buy Zcoins and we don't sell it yet.

Sorry but your offer looks very dubious. He should get help from an admin at one of their official channels to setup the Masternode.

He was stupid to loose that money. Nothing bad about that. I loosed much more money in my life but my philosophy is money are just fun.
yes I heard about our site and what we do it is very dubious. Because it's too good to be true.
In some other thread I loose my patience and send everybody to GFY.
But I calm now. People are different.
We are different. Believe or not it's your problem.
We have happy customers. If there one unhappy REAL our customer speak now Smiley

MPH had very bad luck lattly while F2pool had extremely great luck:
https://insight.zcoin.io/blocks

And now we see that MPH posted this:
Quote
- Several coin network were rolled back by 51% attack these days. Pool increased minimum confirmation num for some coins. You may need to wait longer to withdraw mined coins than before.

the block confirmation now is " 120 confirms.".

What do you think, how F2pool got so lucky with ~130Ghs?
I asked about this on zcoin thread but no 1 seemed to care :-(.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1638450.6720

from : https://blockwolf.com/what-is-a-51-attack
Quote
an attacker with majority power can:
Reverse transactions that he sends while he’s in control. This has the potential to double-spend transactions that previously had already been seen in the block chain.
(The attacker could spend a coin, then create a new fork in which those coins were never spent, allowing the attacker to spend the coins again).
Prevent some or all transactions from gaining any confirmations
Prevent some or all other miners from mining any valid blocks

on F2pool zcoin page:
Quote
F2Pool have encountered a bug of Zcoin, and created an side chain unexpectedly.
We have roll back mined blocks on our side chain. Daily payment is postponed until recalucation is done.
You may notice a decrease in balance because difficulty of side chain is lower than main chain. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Please read this post from Ryzen2700x !!!
I just putting it here...
This is why all blocks goes to f2pool,
any comment from zcoin devs?
