Is it possible to mine with mtp on testnet with gpu and not cpu only?
Many thank’s
Max

Yeap djm34 is working on modifying his MTP miner for this. Note that your GPU has to have more than 4 gb of RAM to run it.

Cool, thank you !!!
Max

Check it out Cheesy Instructions in the Youtube comments.

Looks like the instructions are for nvidia cards, is there miner available for AMD? Also, is it worth mining with MTP using CPU only?

Now , CPU mining is available but it's hard to compete with GPU miners in future . Dev is working on GPU and it will be officially released soon.

Thanks! I've been looking for this. Would this work on MTP after it has been implemented also? or would you consider adding support for it on your next release of the miner?

I can only say that the price is dump very professionally,
Every day lower and lower, someone is selling too much coins,
I can guess that this is not regular investor, it’s can be someone with big pool....
So i can only add that i will continue to buy below 0.0015 and than below 0.00097...
Hard to see this price for this excellent project...
Max

So i was right, now we can buy below 0.0015 as I wrote before....

Hello Dear $Zcoin Community! Great talk with Aaron Ting from Zcoin at ASEAN Decentralized 2.0. I got a hold of Aaron Ting of Zcoin & the Access Blockchain Malaysia Association while on location in Kuala Lumpur. We spoke of the local bitcoin scene, his travels, and opportunities of anonymous crypto coins. More information, see in great video:

If you drop by our Discord https://discordapp.com/invite/4FjnQ2q you can actually already start mining on MTP on our MTP testnet.

Looks to be stable.

We welcome people to give it a go!

Windows:
https://bitbucket.org/zcoinofficial/zcoin/downloads/zcoin-qt-mtptestnetonly.exe
Run with testnet flag
zcoin-qt-mtptestnetonly.exe -testnet
Go to command line and type setgenerate true x (where x is the number of cores u want to use. Take note, each thread takes 4 gigs of RAM so make sure to allocate the appropriate number).

Linux:
Build from https://github.com/zcoinofficial/zcoin/tree/refactor-mtp

Very cool!!

Going to try this out as soon as I get the chance  Cheesy

Still working like a charm for now  Smiley
Anyone else ran into any problems as of yet?

Not really, I've been mining on the testnet also with a Ryzen and haven't had any problems but it's too bad there's going to be a GPU miner and CPU mining won't be worth it Sad

I must join this test and I expect this MTP algorithm is good for running . Are  there anything different between Lyza2z and MTP algorithm ?
Just give me the link for MTP algorithm to understand more  about it . Thanks

I have a rigs which have AMD graphic cards.
Can I mine coins which use MTP algorithm?

Not yet, there's only one for nvidia if I'm not mistaken and it has to be a card with more than 4gb of memory otherwise it won't work.

You're spreading malware replacing the links with mega download with malware. I checked your last posts and you're doing the same again and again, checked with virustotal the files in your mega links, with dozens of malware inside it.

The username is sanojcoin. Each one who quotes him, spreads the malware link

New Zcoin $XZC wallet version out 13.6.6. Primarily a bug fix and maintenance upgrade before we start rolling out our new features. Mandatory for miners but optional (still recommended) for everyone else.

https://github.com/zcoinofficial/zcoin/releases

Thanks for the update, I've just succesfully updated my node at home  Smiley
I like the developments being made by the Zcoin team, the price will probably reflect this soon enough.

Keep it up team!

I think the price hit major support around the 200k satoshi level, we should be due for a bounce soon imo.

As i reported in 5 threads now, you're spreading malware. You changed the link of this quote to a mega link with malware.

I uploaded the file of this mega link you replaced from original link:

ORIGINAL:  https://bitbucket.org/zcoinofficial/zcoin/downloads/zcoin-qt-mtptestnetonly.exe
YOUR MALWARE: https://mega.nz/#!vqg3zA7K!FXxO5wfThZ6huf5JVNcMXjLPYMW1JhLWsvF6cXdPQVI

virustotal analysis https://www.virustotal.com/#/file-analysis/NTIwYzE1MTk4MWNkMDE5NTE0YzgzZjQyZjU5N2Y1Yjk6MTUzNzI1NjY2NQ==

It has dozens of malwares inside it:

you spread malware very smooth quoting zcoinofficial and replacing the link of the text "https://bitbucket.org/zcoinofficial/zcoin/downloads/zcoin-qt-mtptestnetonly.exe"

But i catch you!!!!!!!!

If you drop by our Discord https://discordapp.com/invite/4FjnQ2q you can actually already start mining on MTP on our MTP testnet.

Looks to be stable.

We welcome people to give it a go!

Depending on your electricity cost and hardware there are a few that can be profitable even if you dump at current prices.
