Where can we get info on what MTP is,aisde the fact that it will take more GB on the HDD?

Is it 10 Gb of system ram or GPU ram?
Will that works with 3 GBytes (gtx 1060)?
https://github.com/zcoinofficial/ccminer says:

"mtp requires 4Gb of vram, hence cards with less than 4.5Gb of vram won't work. while running, ccminer will also use around 5.5Gb of ram."

I've tested the miner on a GTX 960 4GB, and it didn't work, as expected. GTX 1060 6GB and GTX 1070 8GB were fine, though slower than expected, both around 100 kh/s.

Women on the Block Sponsorship Announcement: ZCoin
https://medium.com/women-on-the-block/women-on-the-block-sponsorship-announcement-zcoin-5ec4eb10245

Women on the Block is pleased to announce that Zcoin is a sponsor of the “Women on the Block Asia 2018” Blockchain Conference taking place in Singapore on November 14, 2018. Zcoin (XZC) is an open source, decentralised privacy coin that focuses on achieving financial privacy for its users while transacting on the blockchain and also egalitarian distribution of its coins. It pioneered the use of the Zerocoin protocol which uses zero-knowledge proofs in its privacy scheme to break transactions links between transactions and also the first to go live with the Dandelion protocol which hides the originating IP of a sender without the use of TOR or VPNs. Zcoin has been live since September 2016 and is traded on the world’s top cryptocurrency exchanges such as Binance, Bittrex and Huobi. For more information, visit https://zcoin.io

Women on the Block presents a day of learning and thought leadership around blockchain technology. The full day conference will begin at 9:00 am with speakers on topics including Blockchain 101, how to launch a blockchain startup or to be an investor in one, blockchain and law, coding and smart contracts, financial inclusion and economic development and other use cases of blockchain. The conference will also feature keynote speakers unique to the blockchain, cryptography, and digital assets space. Tickets are now available on the Women on the Block website or by clicking this link here.

World’s first large scale blockchain based political election held on Zcoin’s blockchain

Over the period of 1st to the 9th of November, some of you have noticed that we had a huge surge in transactions, with hundreds to thousands of transactions being posted each block on Zcoin’s blockchain. We are now finally able to reveal what these transactions were. In fact this was hinted back in October with Mr. Korn Chatikavanij, former Minister of Finance revealing that political parties in Thailand have started using blockchain technology to select party leaders.

The Thai Democrat Party, Thailand’s oldest political party, recently held a primary election to elect its new party leader. In the past, the party leader was selected by the party’s MPs and the party chairman. With the primary election, all Democrat party members were eligible to vote and it represents the first time a Thai political party has selected its head with input from the grassroots.

what's the best miner for zcoin at the moment?

"Lyra2z was released by Allmine and most BCU1525 owners are mining with it"
Zcoin is mostly mined by FPGAs...

Finally Zcoin deposits are activated on Upbit Korean exchange. But the only pair they have is with btc. Would be cool if they had KRW too but step by step.

Zcoin 0.13.7.2 Released https://twitter.com/zcoinofficial/status/1066042560647356417

This release greatly improves Znode synchronization, includes an Exodus code cleanup which also disables it by default and fixes some smaller bugs.

Since a few days, I have a problem with one ZCoin masternode :
Quote
error: couldn't connect to server

I updated to the last version, 0.13.7.2, but same error (https://github.com/zcoinofficial/zcoin/releases)

When I launch the daemon, it run a little less than one minute, and it deconnect to server...
The VPS was runing fine since 6 months.
I tried to reboot the VPS, but always the error.

Any idea ?

Edit :
I reinstall all the VPS (Ubuntu 16.04, ZCoin 0.13.7.2) and allway the same error : the daemon is runing less than one mn (about 100 blocs sincing) and shut down...

Issue solved : that was a hardware issue in the VPS provider...
I loose one masternode reward (15 XZC) :-(.

Personally, I updated my wallet to version 0.13.7.2, and yes the wallet synchronization is much better than it was before.

Has everyone had to upgrade their wallet to the version (0.13.7.2)?
Or just a optional, and only guys want to have better experience with sync process should update their wallets?

0.13.7.3 is released though the next release which should be quite soon greatly increases sync speed and reduces data consumption.

It would be very interesting to test the new algorithm with my 16-core processor & 128Gb RAM & 2080ti  Roll Eyes With such amount of RAM I guess I can run 30-32 threads on MTP algo.
But in my opinion a large amount of memory will not become an obstacle for the appearance of ASICs. The RAM will be replaced with high-speed NVME disks, as it is implemented in GPU AMD RADEON PRO SSG VEGA  (16GB HBM2 + 2TB SSG). For example, 100ASIC CPUs + 512GB NvMe SSD as RAM. It's just a matter of time and motivation for the appearance of such ASICs.
But I could be wrong, because I did not thoroughly study the work of the new algorithm.
