do you have the original reciept or something that you can track down when and what model you bought? you should be able to get the miner information from that; it seems they don't do firmware by batch but instead by date.

Also, be sure when you're reflashing firmware that you do it right- there have been isues where people have incorectly flashed miners and they've ben bricked.

Apply google +some logic.

google says that v1.31 is 700mhz version, then check if you have one fan or two fans.
basically, you are left with either 5/11 or 5/23 version depicted as 20160511 or 20160523 (700 and 2 fan variety).
Consider the fact that 5/11 firmware was for all S7 miners, therefore, logically, 700/2fan version of it should work at least on v1.31, which as google says is 700mhz 2fan miner.
However, check what firmware is currently on them (in system pan).
Besides, if it is working fine, don't even bother, and if it doesn't, then firmware update will do nothing.
Firmware update is HIGHLY optional and brings some risk of bricking the unit.

For model identification, you may want to look at this label on each Antminer.

4.86 <== Indicates 600M 54-chip model
4.66 <== Indicates 575M 54-chip model
4.73 <== indicates 700M 45 chip model. (Usually 2 fans hardware)
S7-F1-4.73 <== indicates 700M 45 chip model, however, 1 fan firmware
