I'm setting up a donation-based faucet for bytecoins, as I see quite a lot of people are asking for free coins Smiley

I'll post the address when it's setup, it should be done in less than an hour.

come on! 1 day old and i am unable to take any profit with a simple i5 computer ?

the true alt-coin that is going to success will allow to ban each others in case we mine more than "x" MH/s

this way, the early adopters will have better chance to get more money, but the late ones will still have the chance of the actual moment.
not allowing the people with lot of money to get better profit just to be able to buy better hardware.

P2P is the best option right now, difficulty shot up crazy fast! Got my dedicated mini rig going.

Early adopters should start a faucet to get people started!

Try Diablominer.

4 Mhash ? That will net you 2 BTE per Day max, probably less if difficulty keeps rising that much.

I have the same problem, also HD 4000. I suspect it's not compatible. Interested to know if any one knows different

Saigō Takamori : ( 1828 – 1877) was one of the most influential samurai in Japanese history. He has been dubbed the last true samurai.

The faucet is alive! Cheesy

Well, it's empty, but it *should* work (PM me if there are any bugs).

EDIT: Taking suggestions for payout amounts, please feel free to comment on the matter, mainly depends on the amount donated Smiley

It's a faucet, you put in your Bytecoin address and it gives you free coins, at the moment I'm keeping the payout amount to a minimum until it's properly tested. Smiley

Network seems slow today, no confirmations since 5 minutes.

Presumably people left after the difficulty went up, leaving a lower hash rate with a higher difficulty :/

There seems to be a lot of problems starting an almost exact clone of bitcoin with today's hardware

Great Smiley, the slow rate is kind of annoying, as I'm still waiting for even 1 BTE to be confirmed to the faucet Undecided

PS. by the way the serious trolls and professionals have always targeted Maria, Cypherdoc, Molecular, D&T, etc. So don't be surprised by all the comments.

PPS. Diversify!

Edit: Faucet declares >24h for arrival:0.1 BTE
